European here trying to get into NBA and American basketball.

So, I'm watching the Spurs vs. Washington Wizards... pretty fun.

Lakers and Knicks are supposed to be the top teams right now, right?
The Charlotte Bobcats are easily the best team in the league right now. It all starts in the front office with the GOAT as the owner - its a trickle down effect of greatness.

Lakers should put Kobe on Manu. It's the only way Manu doesn't drop 40.

Blair just got 6 rebounds in 1 possession

Dude he might actually go check out a Bobcats game... and then we'll never hear from him again

If the first NBA game you watch is a Bobcats shameball display, then it guarantees that every basketball event you see afterward will be spectacular.

I just came in here to :lol @ the Cavs.

What's strange is that the Cavs were looking like a .500 team before December. I guess they were going off pure adrenaline from the summer, then it just all fizzled out after Dec. 2nd.

The Cavs are fortunate the Knicks had just come off two exhausting games against the Heat and Celts, otherwise the Cavs probably wouldn't have a win in December.

How did Chicago end up with a Christmas back to back?

That's fucked up.

So did the Nuggets. Very strange.

Not really. Usually teams that play on Christmas have some weird schedule where they'll have 4 days off in a row at some point. Spurs had it last year right before all star break (actually 5 days off) but they were on the road anyway.

Chicago needs to make a trade for another scorer/2 guard now.

they have nothing outside of Gibson to give up. Deng's contract is too big for most teams to eat. They coulda had Kobe and Deng is the only reason they don't.

Joe Johnson with 18, 5 and 4 on the Hornets. Hornets could use a lock down defender, imo. A guy who could be a solid 4th option on a good team.

Deserved? Why does Lebron "deserve" a championship? If anything, he deserves nothing based on his behavior and attitude. Rings are earned, not given.
If he and the Heat beat Hawks, Knicks, Celtics, and then the Spurs in the playoffs explain to me how he wouldn't deserve that ring.

knicks age where are you

someone hold me after that giants debacle

dont even want to read the nfl thread right now smh

also how the f did the cavs lose that game

Gibson and some first rounders (including Charlotte's rolling 1st rounder) of course. But I don't mean a Melo-caliber trade needs to go down. They just need a JR Smith, Affalo, or a Thornton which shouldn't take too much that the Bulls don't have.

They're no better than the awful Duncan, Manu, and TP HEB commercials.
I like some of those tho tim always comes off so awkward in them, best ever were the old school Sean Elliott taco cabana commercials

tbh ive always liked you jobber

you always post enthusiastically even during the most boring SA blowouts

imo nbaage should respect this

I can post a gif of Clay Matthews not quitting on the play (and punching the ball loose) here if you like.

Look at the way Joe Johnson drained that open 3. Incredible lockdown defense from Ariza.

So if the Hornets move to Seattle, will I get to see blackace defending Trevor Ariza? 'Cause I'd really enjoy that.

Bulls would be crazy to give up Gibson, considering how injury prone Boozer is.

I don't think he's tradeable unless they get Carmelo for him(or him and someone like James Johnson).

I am kind of worried by him mentally though.

He was playing so well starting and he seems fine with being a reserve but hasn't been the same and they aren't letting him play a whole lot.

Hopefully, his minutes will go up.

I heard it had more to do with his windedness, not the concussion directly.

Maybe matchups too but I don't want to see him fade away, he's a big part of the team.

How is it a troll post?

1) You are assuming the Knicks will make the playoffs.

2) Who are they beating in the first round to make it to the second?

I'd love to hear this rationally explained, since, this wasn't a troll at all.

I'll let Heat fans in on a secret. Back in 2007, I made a blood offering
( T-Mac's knee )
to the pagan gods to curse Lebron so that he would never win a championship in his prime.

Lebron won't win a championship until 2014 at the earliest if he ever does. He is cursed. And he will remain cursed for as long as I keep providing the pagan gods more offerings
career ending injuries to small forwards
.

So you should get the idea out of your head of winning a championship for as long as Lebron is on your team. Sorry.

They can't beat Chicago, Orlando, Boston or Miami. Who cares about anyone else.

That is my point:

You likely just listed seeds 1-4 (with Atlanta interchangable with Chicago for the 4th seed)

Which of those teams does he think they are beating?

EDIT: Oh wait, he had Atlanta out in the first round meaning he thinks they will be a 6,7 or 8 seed if Miami is a 1,2 or 3.

Even better!

OMG you think the Knicks won't make the playoffs? And the Knicks could beat the Bulls in the first round.

Can you explain what caused you to think the Knicks are a top team right now?
