So, his mechanics look "better" but he's missing more mid-range shots than ever in the past five seasons. Obviously that means he's improved!

Come on you know you're better than that. It's only fucking December...last year Wade started out the year with rather sub-par numbers but they evened out by the end.

In fact, he's in the van across the street from your house right now.

Don't creep me the fuck out. Yesterday I walked home and as I swiped myself through the gate someone was pointing a laser at me from who the fuck knows where...

Lakers are probably gonna lose tonight, but man this is actually the biggest game of their season so far, testing the team, playoffs ranking, etc.

And yet he's shooting 28% from 10-15 feet and 41% from 16-23 feet...

http://www.hoopdata.com/player.aspx?name=Lebron James

And hey, look! He's averaging a career low in three-point attempts and shooting a career high in makes?? He's also assisted on damn near 70% of his three-point makes?? Who would have thought!

EDIT: Well, not career high, but in the years they've tracked data.
His jumper has improved on the long range 2 point shot, but not the mid range shot. And he's at his best in his career in shooting the 3.

You're dissecting everything I say like I'm LeBron James.

K.Jack is this what I am to you now?
No, hell no. I'm not trolling you, just because of your Heat fandom. I would have the same reaction, no matter who and fan of what team said that.

It's just that basketball is such a stat driven league.

Tyreke Evans apparently going in for season ending surgery on his foot soon and there's rumors that Cousins will be sent to the D-League soon as well. I want to say that the Kings will improve once these cancers are removed, but like everyone on the team is a cancer to the point where Cousins is the most intelligent and least selfish player on the roster arguably. Time to put your bets down on the Kings breaking the loss record while these are still rumors!

The only cancer on that team is Paul Westphal

Last year Wade shot 46% from the field in the first 47 games. In the last 40 games (including the playoffs) Wade shot 51.1%. So his shooting went up by 11%. So ph33hix was right.

i don't give a fuck about stats. i care more about what i see in person, i'm talking about his actual mechanics and shit

things have a tendency to even themselves out to where they should be as long as the approach is consistent

but don't get me wrong. jumper is still not a forte in his game and i cringe when he takes tough shots. he makes them in MSG...but not in the playoffs against boston.

His jump is still pretty ugly but the main issue is his shot selection...

So Wade started out the season shooting 46% and finished the season shooting 47%... Uhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I got a nit for you to pick.

Either way, he's wrong, because he said Wade posted "subpar" (relative to his ability) numbers -- which he clearly didn't.

The last 2 pages were gold. LBJ a better scorer than Wilkins, and no one responded to explaining how he's a better scorer than even prime Tmac, and a rehash of the teammates in Cleveland argument.

:lol

what is both of you choke in the playoffs?

10/10

It's murdaaaaaaaaa

Unrelated, but significant:
@ArtGarcia_NBA: Dirk Nowitzki MRI results reveal sprained right knee. Out tonight for Mavs-Raptors. Day-to-day.

This is getting worrisome now. You really need to stop stalking me.
Don't worry bro, he did the same to me... he goes after fresh meat of Heat-age. After a few months, he stopped doing it to me. If you really think about it, hes kind of like the pedophile of NBA Age: he likes them young, naive, and defenseless- after you've been here a while/grown up, he loses interest.

Konex curse is more powerful than ever.

Cloudy just said that Dallas was going to embarrass the Spurs too...

Who said I was done with you?

We go after all Triple Ls actually and I can tell you there weren't a lot of Heat lurker converts last season.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence all the new vocal posters happen to be "lifelong" Heat fans.

Pure coincidence.

We started the first 47 games shooting 46% and finished the last 40 games (playoffs included) shooting 51%. And 46% is realtivly lower than his average. Not by alot but it was lower.

In the last 3 months or so of last year he actually started to shoot better than his career average.

Prime TMac and Cavs Lebron I would say are equals when it came to scoring ability.

He got hurt before Konex said that... if anything he should have made it worse than a sprained knee.

We don't get points for peterb0y anymore. :P

I've trolled everyone in this thread. My reign is undisputed. We don't need to play no mo games, etc.

But he started at 46% and finished at 47% -- which is right in line with his career numbers. Like I said, you are trying to nitpick and trying to make a point that does not exist. It's the same shit you tried pulling with "Lebron is a better three-point shooter than Wilkins!" when both are within < 1% of each other.

Either way, Wade averaging 26/5/6.5 in the first two months of the season is right around what Wade should average and has averaged -- that's called par for the course if you understood the expression at all. There is no sub-par about it.

Quit arguing for the sake of argument. Even ph33nix dropped it after he knew he was wrong. You're trying too damn hard to sound right, but in the end you're just sounding foolish -- and still wrong.

Again you are wrong when it comes to his FG%. In October, November, and December of 2009 he shot (his first 30 games) 44%. The next 50 games he shot 50%. Just admit when you are wrong and keep it moving.

Ph33nix stopped because he acknowledged that he didn't have access to the numbers to keep talking about it. He was going off of what he remembered. And I'm telling you that Hoopdata has Wade shooting better in the 2nd part of the season, relative to the beginning of the season.

Ph33nix was saying that over the course of the year Wade's shooting averaged out to fit his career average numbers, even though he started off slowly in his FG%.

It's all right here!

Pfft. If Selena Gomez ever wears a Heat jersey this will officially become hte creepiest thread on GAF.

Fuck this fraud-ass debate. Heat aren't worthy of it, they haven't proven anything and their roster is comprised of stat-inflated, overhyped candy cane pretenders. Discuss teams that have proven their shit. That means the Spurs, Mavs, Celtics, and Hawks.
