I wish Lakers would have lost that game. Apparently they need an even bigger kick in the ass than I had thought. Give them a 7 game losing streak.
I don't know why people keep thinking that the Lakers losing games will light a fire under their ass. They've been doing this same type of shit for how many years now?

It's not going to change. Not until the playoffs anyways, and even THEN they pull this shit some times.

Let me wallow in my disdain for this team!

I like Matt. I like what he brings to this team.

But sometimes he does some really dumb shit... and more often than not they're totally unnecessary actions.

Like why is he throwing Spencer Hawes out of bounds after we miss a shot with like 1.3 seconds left on the clock? Matt needs to learn how to chill the fuck out sometimes.

He tipped that ball out of bounds...

Plus he's a douche.

You are definitely drunk because he most certainly did not tip it out. Sorry.

Sorry but defeating the Sixers by 4 ISN'T getting back into better shape. That is just plain ole' luck. Ball bounces a different way and they are tied or lose. Wake me up when they win a few games in a row by 10.

Meh. We scored over 100 and kept them under it. It was anybodies game for sure, but it's still a nice win to add to our column.

And it wasn't like we weren't in complete control either. I think they lead in this game either once or twice and that was only during the 1st quarter.

It wasn't a great win by any stretch, but at least it looks like we're getting our offense back to where it needs to be. We're actually moving the ball around now! Now the defense is another story...

Again, look at the competition... If the Lakers have to hold onto victories by 4 points against the Sixers as a reason for hope then we're screwed.

It's not like we didn't lose or have close games against shit teams the last two years. It happens.

By the way The Big Worth had 15 rebounds. He looked exceptionally active tonight too. lol when was the last time 'Drew out-rebounded Pau??

Letting bad teams come back and beat them by a few points IS 2008-2010 shape though.

So I can certainly live with that.

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom and wife Khloe Kardashian already have their marriage shared with the world in gossip rags and celebrity entertainment shows. But Odom said Friday he hasn't decided whether he is going to take his relationship to the television screen and make the full transition from basketball star to reality TV star.

"It's a decision," Odom said before the Lakers' game against the Philadelphia 76ers. "If I wanted to make a pitch to have one, I probably could but, I don't know. I'm busy."

"As of right now, I'm not sure. I'm pretty busy during the season. The decision hasn't been made."

Us Weekly first reported the plan for a Khlomar/LODashian spinoff show to feature Odom and his wife, following the success of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami," starring Khloe and her sisters, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian.

"Should I do one, what do you think?" Odom asked a reporter. "They pay pretty well."

The celebrity magazine reported that shooting would begin in the spring, around the same time the playoffs would be starting for the Lakers.

"It's something you got to think about," Odom said. "You got to be dedicated to it ... I want it to be good if I did it."

Odom has expanded his profile away from the court since marrying Khloe on the eve of Lakers' training camp last season. He and his wife have a unisex fragrance in development and Odom has appeared in several national ad campaigns, including a commercial that aired on Super Bowl Sunday.

"We have a lot of things going on and a reality show is in the mix," Odom said. "People that live and work in L.A., we're all brands. That's just a way that a person would go about building a brand."

oh boy

Happy New Year NBA-GAF!

You guys missed out if you didn't get to watch OKC play tonight. The worst 3pt shooting team in the league made over 50% and Harden displayed that swagger that is going to be so big for us in Jan and Feb when we are away from home so much. Only 10 home games for both months combined.

The whole game had a really nice flow to it that has been really lacking from most Thunder games this season. Thunder v. Hawks has produced some good games over the past couple of years.

Russ got a triple dub even if it was a little shady and after the game was pretty much over and Durant was just so smooth. Can't really say anything else about it. When he is on it is just a beautiful thing to witness first-hand. Every one of the 5-9 3s he shot felt like they were going in. And FThunder was kept to a minimum. Just 15-17 from the line even though we were aggressive and attacked the basket.

It would have been a much more decisive victory but Crawford pretty much beasted on us.

I went to a great house party afterwards and met a couple of our super fans including the guy that had the Christmas tree on his chest that caused K Mart to crack up on the line. He said that he has been personally thanked by pretty much the whole team for being such a dedicated fan at one time or another this season. Also happy to report that he says that Krstic is going to be gone after this season. So we are going to be losing our bad guy. :lol

I really hope the team that played tonight shows up in San Antonio tomorrow. It is time to nut up if we want to make a run at a home court seed in the playoffs.

Going to watch NBA gametime and will be heading home to get my lucky bowl of black-eyed peas for the new year. I am looking forward to following all the 2011 NBA-GAF threads. Hope all of you guys have a great one.
