Fans have something to cheer about? The Cavs are playing like shit.

Some fans really need to get over their 'girlfriend' leaving them.
If you have nothing to cheer about, just boo!

I guess I just bought into the hype over how enraged Cleveland was at Lebron. Apparently all they had was a couple quarters of passion.

So, uh, maybe they're over it?

Leaving Cleveland wasn't the problem. The problem was the classless way he did it, and they way he ran away to his buddies so he wouldn't have to bear the pressure of being an alpha dog.

Or leaving to a team where he thought he had the best chance to win. Yes a bunch of people think this experiment won't work but that is besides the point, we will be a contender every single year they are together.

How did this team sell out all 10 games this season?

I'm not sure the Hawks have sold out more than 2 games in a row in a decade - playoffs notwithstanding.
all these tix were sold before lebron left. They are usually not as completely awful as they're playing tonight. It's pretty disgraceful.

Atlanta may be the worst major sports city in the country.

No one cares any more seriously

Lebron's basically proving Cleveland right by leaving. They basically have the same role players from last year and they're not even a .5 team.

They're not a contender this year.

Certainly not. Falcons and Thrashers get good attendance despite the city being largely transplants.

Hawks have always had poor attendance, even back in the Omni. Yet people keep on saying Atlanta is a great basketball city.

College sports obviously speak for themselves.

Actually, I'll admit that part of it is that it's really a pain in the ass to get downtown considering most of the folks live in the north or eastern suburbs. Better public transportation is a pipe dream.

So...this is kind of Lebron's best game of the year. By far. And he saved it for the Cavs. :lol Absolutely insane shit he's throwing up and hitting now. All the clowning aside, this is how this Heat team was supposed to look night in and night out.

My opinion of LeBron is waaay up after the fuck you he put to the entire city in the 3rd. Wow, some of these shots are just stupid :lol :lol

I didn't think he had it in him

nobody would dispute he has a better collection of talent in Miami...and them beating sub-.500 teams is no feat. we dispute whether they have the collection of talent balanced enough to win a ring.

Enough to get them past Orlando or Boston in the playoffs. The Cavs squad LeBron had was good enough to beat those teams...but it was the balance and chemistry that made it work and sometimes didn't. this year will be interesting because their pro's are as big as their cons.

Kerr and Miller being former players can never identify with fans, they do this every time a crowd boos a former player.

Yeah, good point.

Agreed.

"Yeah, the league would be so much better if all its fans were as dispassionate as Heat fans."

The lack of caring is seriously painful, on so many fronts.

Weren't they predicting highest ratings in years or something? Hopefully that's not true.

Yeah Lebron really proved something tonight, beating a non-playoff eastern conference team.

Well we kind of do this to most sub 500 teams, not to this extent but similar games. I would really like to see us beat some better teams.

I never thought they'd lose but I thought he'd crumble under pressure and have a poor game. I enjoyed seeing him embrace the hate and dominate

Dude, give it up.

He absolutely abused a team that laid down for him.

But he abused them, nonetheless.

I blame Mr. "I'm gonna quit the NBA if I can't play with LeBron" Williams.

Wouldn't be surprised if he didn't try to stowaway on the flight back to MIA.

I didn't think it was possible, but Mo is actually an even chokier version of Jason Terry.
