The Magic aren't going to let Vince expire. His deal is non-guaranteed next season, so they'll deal him to somebody looking for cap relief by the deadline. Or at least try really hard to do so.

Wondering what's the deal with the hate for Vince Carter this season.

He seems to be playing a lot better than his first season with Orlando. His rebounding and assists are down, but his shooting percentages (besides FT) are all higher than his career averages.

But for $17 mil a season? Definitely no. Who else would the Magic pick up to replace him once his contract is up?

J-Rich on the Magic would be crazy.
because he's lousy in the clutch and absolutely buttfucked that teams chemistry

At the rate they're playing now, Vince + Bass might be enough for Melo. *fingers crossed*
Everyone should want Melo. He gets to the line as well as LeBron and he's a better shooter. I doubt Wince + Bass will get it done.

In what world would that ever be enough for Melo?

Why would the Nuggets need an expiring when Melo is expiring? They're trading Melo for legitimate pieces, not expirings.

Its not like they can build around Melo's shadow.

If they're going to lose Melo, they're gonna do their best to not take back any contract for a mediocre player past two years... Chauncey is gone too. For Melo, they're in the right to ask for nothing but expirings and draft picks. Anything less is gonna get laughed at. New York's chances to land Melo are only getting better.

Throwing in my two-cents to the entire LeBron love-fest in Cleveland this week. The entire event was a total embarrassment on all ends except for the fans who showed up to the arena. I feel bad for these guys at this point, while in Miami you have NFL Thursday night game beating out this game where nationally the Cavs game beat out on the NFL.

TNT should be ashamed of themselves for editing the audio and drowning it out with Reggie Miller not shutting his damn yap. The only notification they could have gotten to do this was from Stern himself. They are not obligated to do shit. What is the NBA with their declining ratings going to bail out on TNT because they didn't adjust the sound setup they feature for every other national broadcasted game? No.

Cavs should be ashamed of themselves. You could tell they didn't give a shit about the game and played grab ass with LeBron during the whole fucking game. The only good moment was the replay of that one player who told him to get the fuck back to his bench, the rest of the team might have just waited in his fucking hotel room for cocktails and circle jerks. Joke coach Byron Scott looked like a total boob and made special needs specialist Mike Brown look like Red Auerbach. He has no relation to any of the previous Cavs teams. He had no reason to play peace maker here.

The fans there showed up. Had some good creativity. My only complaint was they didn't replace LeBron's powder with some cold french fries.

As much as I hate complimenting the Heat and as weak of a .500 team as the Hawks are (especially without JJ), the Heat have looked pretty good on D thus far this game.

Crowd is still disappointing as hell.

Joel Anthony summed up in 3 possessions.

-Has no hands, lets an easy inside pass from Chalmers slip through his greasy fingers.

-Cannot hang on to a rebound, he tips the ball away from Horford but again lets it slip out of bounds

-Horford goes up for layup, lebron contests it, ball is coming off the cylinder, Joel comes in a smacks it while its still coming off, goal-tending.

Smh, can't believe I was defending this guy earlier.

If Chalmers does not get the starting PG from Arroyo soon, i'm starting up firespo.com again.

He is pushing the ball up the court like Rondo, getting guys for open shots, and can actually knock down his own shots unlike Arroyo.

Edit: Bosh just tapped the ball in for the Hawks :lol

HOLY DAMPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Blocked Evans Dunk like he was still in his prime, and the best part is that the crowd actually responded like...........A Real crowd.

EDIT: Chants of "Miami Loves You" :lol :lol :lol

Chalmers is so bad that he's had his starting spot taken by Arroyo twice in the same season.

Remind me to compare DJ to Deron Williams more often to.

Hawks are so damn soft. Wade and Arroyo are the leading rebounders FFS
Hawks are one of the few .500 teams the Heat should consistently beat. They (the Hawks) blow out bad teams and get blown out by good teams.

Jesus Christ. Courtney Lee hit in the eye. Blood all over the hardwood. Looked like Brad Miller fucked up on setting a screen or something.

You didn't need to specify the Hawks there, that sentence applies to both teams...

Nothing posted anywhere, so unless you heard it from a Hornet, probably not true.
Have you seen the guy play lately?

But yeah, just asking if anyone else had seen anything...
