The greater New York area has 3 football teams. its not like its totally out of the question.

Anaheim always gets excited when the Lakers play their pre season games out there
It's retarded. Aren't golden state and the kings there also? so that really would make 5 teams in the one state. Thats an entire division to themselves.

I'm not saying it wouldn't succeed. There's a lot of people in that state and it's not exactly small. But you put and concertrate too much of your market in one area whilst ignoring the rest of the country. It actually reduces the quality of product you have, to sell to the market. You put a team in seattle, and you get the state of Washington. You add another bball team to cali, and you get saturation.

And there's already one team looking to get out of the state (the kings) because of lack of continual support (for a multitude of reasons, including, horrible rosters).

Spurs playing really well so far. 6 minutes in and I don't think they've made a mistake yet, defensively or offensively.

Great sign because I was worried after the close game with the Wolves and loss to the Clips that we had lost our swagger.

I just fear the 30/30 Love train.. he is going to go nuts if Seattle gets a team to make me eat all the bullshit I talked about him when he was drafted..
If Ballmer buys the Hornets, you should come back and attend that first game, and apologize to Love profusely. Maybe he'll only go for 20 and 15. You know, go easy on em.

And real talk.. outside of the classic rivalies like Lakers/Celtics.. The Sonics/Blazers Sonics/Jazz are as gritty and passionate as it gets..

Or maybe Rambis will only play him 13 mins..

It's like after the first loss, all of the Hornets' players not named Chris Paul realized they were nothing special.

It's like a superhero with invincibility who loses it, gets shot, and looks down to see himself bleeding.

They are who we knew they were.

They're a middle of the pack team competing for anywhere from 5th - 10th.

How can anyone watching this Hornets team call Deron Williams the best PG? Take him away and the team would seriously be Cavs-bad.

Because people base that on the overall play, not who is playing at the moment.

By advanced $tats CP3 continues to be the best player in the league, so I'm not sure what point you're making here? It's not like I don't watch Jazz games.

Yeah man, take George Hill away and the Spurs would crumble. Totally agree.
Do you watch Hornets games when they're not playing the Spurs? I do. Anyway Manu is clearly the player of the game so far.

Good thing they used their picks to land to Bayless and Willie Green.

unlike the Mavs who are just pure trash, have no bench and nobody can do anything...

I should change Brandy's name to Eeyore

No, the Mavs can definitely do something. They can win 50 games every year, and then lose in the first round of the playoffs. They're a model of consistency.

Manu? Right now its Bonner :D

Sure I watch Nats games. But I will never call any player "great" or "best in the league" until they do it in the playoffs. I don't care who his help is, losing 50+ to the fucking Nuggets is inexcusable.

Derek Fisher is the best PG in the league. Prove me wrong.

Matt Bonner killin' em :lol

Thats not a good argument and you know it :lol

Fish may have made some clutch shots but hes been the worse PG in like every series hes played. No way hes the best wtf.

You know a guy is a dumb defender when he doesn't close out on a Fisher 3-pointer in the playoffs.

What's he going to do, blow by you?

I think my favorite part of watching Hornets games is seeing Trevor Ariza constantly call for the ball and never get it. Like nobody else on the floor trusts he'll hit a jumpshot.

The worst part for the Hornets is that they're shooting 50% right now. Too bad they're letting the Spurs shoot 75%.

Good thing CP3 is one the best defenders in the NBA.

Advanced Stats also means Amir Johnson is the best PF in the league.

The hornets mediocrity isn't because of CP3, and he's a great PG. But i'm taking D-Will over him every time, his longterm health scares the hell out of me and should for anyone signing him to a max anytime soon.

Also, with out d-will, utah are in a lot of trouble.

Your comment sounds like an ESPN commentator saying whom ever he's commentating on now, is better than anyone else in the league.

When people would rather pass the ball to Okafor instead of you, its time to turn your life around.

Nah, I've been pretty consistent on my attitude about CP3. I agree the injury problems make him a risk in the long term, but I'm not building a team, I'm talking about the NBA as it is right now.

Also, not that I particularly trust PER... but Amir Johnson is nowhere near the best PF by that metric.

Well, even at their current pace, it will be hard for Portland or Golden State to overtake the Hornets.

For the first time in a long time, the last couple of teams in the West playoffs might actually be pretty mediocre.

Gaf what would you do

Got a trade offer

I get:
Durant
Billips

I give away:

Westbrook
P.Gasol

I kinda want Durant since its a rotiss league but I could use the assists and boards..What do you think gaf?

Portland depends entirely on injuries.

GS won't make the play offs. They've got some trades to do, i don't think ellis finishes the year there.

We got greedy trying to double them up. meh

Still a huge lead.

Don't do it. Billups sucks and Westbrook is a fantasy gem this year.

They took their hearts to South Beach.

I think Portland is done. Roy is not ever going to be the same player, his career is over until he goes to the Suns.

Holy shit, the Spurs are blowing out the Hornets. How did this happen? I just stepped in.

Near perfect play. Shooting lights out from 3, penetrating at will, and executing our plays flawlessly. Its beautiful.

Oh and Matt Bonner. When he plays like this, we're unbeatable.
