I'm not even a Heat fan but I gotta get it off my chest.

This whole LeBron "thing" with all these bitter people including the entire city of Cleveland, the teams, ownership and other cities he chose not to sign with is comical and childish. Its making the NBA look like the WWE , real carnival shit.

As a sports fan, I'm asking when is this crap going to blow over? Its old a long time ago.

Mind you not talking about the Heat crapping the bed lately I understand that is fair game and funny to boot. I mean the irrational LeBron hate, does this guy have any fans outside of Miami? If I was a pro athelete I would avoid Cleveland like the plague, childish and very bitter fans, worse than Philly even.

TRANSLATION: "Hey guys, I'm part of a fanbase above crying bitter tears.."

Right, because Miami talk radio wasn't crying that "Nick Saban screwed us over" when he went to Alabama.

GTFO with that bullshit.

and yes, the team has plenty of talent. I just don't think this particular collection of talent is kind of talent they need to win rings, though. they're fundamentally flawed.

I certainly hope they don't. this requires too much organization anyway. that's just OD.

i wouldnt doubt cleveland since u know theyre going to attack lebron at every possible moment

at the very least we'll get some of those chants and im hoping delonte is the most popular :lol

Why? The only thing the Heat lack is an All-Star Center. I think between Z and Haslem they can work it out. Anthony has me disappointed, though. Thank GOD we still have Haslem. If we didnt have him, I might agree with you.

Haslem isn't a center. Nor can he be considered anything more than a serviceable roleplayer.

Pilonv1, rejoice!

Just finished pregame interviews with coach Mac and it sounds like Patty Mills will get minutes tonight, probably as the 1st PG off bench.

I'm not a Life long suns fan, mainly because i didn't know about the NBA till my early teens.

As far as my lifetime has consisted of, the only years that haven't been full of pain prior to Nash's return, were when we ran KJ, Barkley, Ainge, and Thunder Dan. Fuck The Dream's Rockets and the Jeffrey led Bulls.

As to the present, how about them rebounds? :|

You don't even know the status of personel on your own team?

Nah, ive been really bad at catching the games, since i gave up TV 3 years ago. Ive only watched 2 halves all season and usually find out there was a game the day after.

Well don't let the Haslem news get you down too much. Once 'Zo comes back from injury the center position will be fine.

Heat should pursue trading BronBron for Granger and Collison in some sort of package deal. Granger is a much better compliment for Wade than LeBron will ever be.

If I'm a Cavs fan though, I'm happy witnessing Gilbert react the way he is. It shows that he gives a shit.

Bet you that Adam Blade and Jonm would trade Sterling and Shinn for Gilbert in a heartbeat.

I can't believe I'm agreeing with you of all people but that is it right there. Dan Gilbert stuck up for my city that has been shitted on my entire life. Outside of Cleveland I can see how many of you think he is an asshole, but to the people who live here it is totally different. I have no clue how bad it is going to get tomorrow but its not going to be pretty.

Said it at the start of the year, Lopez was very important to this team. Sure he wasn't picking up a lot of rebounds by number early in the season, but he was boxing out and keeping bigs off the glass (well, atleast HIS big). Which is almost as / more important as getting the actual rebound. The team is now jus running in damage control trying to stay as close to .500 as possible till he returns.

(Barkley led suns were the reason i became a suns fan, charles has always been awesome).

Not sure if you seen it before, but I've told you that the only reason I disliked the Cavaliers was because Lebron was a douchebag and I sensed it years ago. Unfortunately it took him fucking over the entire city of Cleveland for it to become evident to the masses.

Is there a single player on the Suns who, if injured, you wouldn't know about once it was deseminated to the public?

Seriously.

No, but i read a lot about suns/basketball. I don't expect every casual fan to pay that much attention.

I probably know more about the team than most people who get to actually attend games, yet i've never been. Maybe thats where i should go in January.

For real? That's really horrible news.

Maybe next year then.
How the fuck can you use words like "We" when talking about your team... and not even know how badly a major role player on your team is injured?

Come on bro...

Yeah I could understand this completely if Haslem was some scrub off the bench. But he is a major contributer to this team. Hell, he was their third best player(maybe even second) until he went down.

Their best rebounder and defensive player at that.

Paul has decent help, at some point it has to be his fault if they can't win.

I can just see you rubbing a Deron Williams Fleer rookie card slowly across your chest as you say that

Yeah, I made the same point with my father before the season started. He's very crucial this year and I was wondering if that knowledge was making him cave under the pressure with his slow start. I hope he'll be able to get it under control and start playing like last year when he returns. I'd personally like to give Barron some more minutes, have Frye come off the bench...where he belongs. I think he could be servicable with boards and interior D while Lopez is out. In the least, we could see what he's capable of, can't be worse than Frye.

Barkley was my hero when I was a kid (don't laugh), I named my dog after him (oh the puns). Felt betrayed when he left for the very team that kept us from the Finals a few years. I didn't know any better back then.

All star bigs are so common in the NBA.. so common..

David West has always been underrated, 2 guards that were thought to be good signings (Mo Pete , Posey) turn to shit after they get there. Defensive presences of players like Okafor get downplayed. Fantastic Rookie gets moved because they won't co-exist. Paul has had help whether you see it or not.

What a weird post.

You are really reaching.. Mo Pete was really in the decline in Canada.. Posey as well..

Okafor is a decent big in the middle.. The rookie getting moved isn't Paul's fault and them not getting anything in return for him isn't Paul's fault.. David West on any other team would be horrible, he can't play D nor rebound worth shit..

Paul hasn't had a real number 2 player since coming to the NBA.. most players who take their teams deep into playoffs have one at least..

That's gonna be the Seattle Grizzlies.

I already done told ya.

When Balmer buys the team he will use it to crush Google for once and for all you will see!

I guess the winning makes everyone turn a deaf ear. Before Lebron the biggest "star" in this town as I was growing up was Bernie Kosar. I bet 80% of the people in this thread never even heard of him. Lebron was the hometown kid that was going to lead Cleveland out of sports misery so anything negative about our savior was blown off. What can I really say? All you haters knew what he was about, but winning 60 plus games and having a shot at a title each year made us Clevelanders oblivious. Its sad to think that if Lebron actually "cared" as much as someone like Mo Williams the Cavs would be going for a 3 peat now. Fuck Lebron, I hope tomorrow is the worst day of his life.

If you allow Kemp to coach and make a reality TV show out of it we may be on to something huge!

Holy shit, thats almost an apology post out of wizman. It's even, consilatory in tone.

Come on man. Even if the traditional media thought Mo' and Posey were good signings, anyone with sense knew they were way past being anything more than occasional contributors. Two bad signings that ESPN hypes due to guys having solid names = not help. You can make that three guards, by the way. Ariza is right there with them. David West was underrated, until he was overrated, and now he's just about properly rated. He's an alright big with a good shot. He is a loooong way from being a solid number two. Okafor...I mean, dude? Emeke fucking Okafor? You know how people always say "there's more to the game than offense" when they criticize 'Melo? Well, there's more to the game than above-average defense. And this would be the first I've heard of any real tension between Collison and CP3.

The best player CP3 has played with has been David West. David West. Paul has been turning nickel alloy into silver for his entire career. Maybe it's not gold, but the shit he was handed sure isn't silver.
