Tier 4 (for fans of the teams only):

Celtics @ Nets -- Only if you want to see Shaq laughing while shooting free throws with his left hand late in the second quarter.

I woke up just for this. :(

Just feed it to Ed Davis indefinently. Knicks can't contain him

EDIT: And of course Bayless starts chucking on schedule

Bayless has been looking good on the Raptors. Hopefully he's finally found a more permanent home.

God I hope not. We get Bayless' type all the time in Toronto-1's that play like 2's, get some minutes and magically think they're #23.

The Lakers are behind the Jazz and Mavs after the Jazz and Mavs have played two of the toughest schedules in the league and the Lakers have played the easiest schedule in the league. The Mavericks are getting the #1 seed this year and the Jazz and Spurs will battle it out for the #2 seed.
:D

Ed Davis just air balled a free throw. :lol And it wasn't even close.
Between that and the other free throw that sort of glanced off the extreme left side of the backboard, I'd say Ed Davis is an early favorite for worst FT shooter in the league.

Yeah, but the difference with Bayless is that he isn't jacking up stupid shots and has actually been setting guys up for nice looks instead of hogging the ball.

:lol Raptors shooting under 50% from the line

That's what's killing them. If they were hitting their season average this would be a 2 point game.

Fortunately the Knicks seem to have lost their legs a bit - 5-16 on 3s. They're letting the Raps stay around.

Raps still in this, despite stupidly throwing away points at the stripe. Amir was heating up at the end of the half.

Some better FT shooting, a little more EDE, we can still take this shit.

Seriously, I had no expectations for the guy, but he's making plays. Can't really ask for much more out of your backup point guard. Especially when you got him for Marcus "dead weight" Banks.

Ed Davis was actually an above average free throw shooter in college.
Maybe in the intervening period he went blind in one eye? Or maybe the pressure of the NBA is getting to him... players routinely shoot about 10% worse in-game than they do during practice.

What was his FT%? Looking it up...

Ok, 66% in his last year, 57% the first year... How is that above average? it's bad.
