True, but like like I said earlier in the thread, my dream scenario is to have the Spurs on the opposite side of the bracket than the Mavs and Lakers. I'm loving the fact that Pop is able to give Timmy and Manu rest and we're still winning games.

The rest is almost getting out of hand though. Our depth is so good that our bench can win us most games, and whenever Pop sees that, he just decides to keep them in (like tonight v. Hawks). I'm just worried the main guys will get rusty and complacent. I'd also like to see Splitter get more minutes, though I don't think is as urgent as people say; I think Blair is more than good enough to start on a championship team. Seeing Duncan coast this hard is nice in terms of rest, but I'd still like for us to go to him more so we can work on that aspect of our game and not have to quickly adjust to integrating him into the offense come playoff time.

Those are minor complaints though. Next win will mark a great milestone: with the next win, we'd only have to go .500 to reach 50 wins. Its almost unthinkable that we'd go less than .650-.700, which would put us on pace for 60 wins at the least. Thats a successful season no matter how you look at it...way beyond everyones expectations, including mine.

Eh. I think Pop is saving the vets for the Rodeo trip and the second half the schedule, which is kinda brutal. I think one thing Pop has learned over hte last two post seasons is you have to give new players lots of reps in the regular season or they wont' do as well in the playoffs.

Probably true, especially since the last thing the core needs is more experience with one another :lol

Doesn't explain the Splitter situation though :(

I'm wondering if I'll feel the same thing about Heat-Knicks next Friday.

Even if tickets are 100+...

I dropped $40 on the Kings/Bulls, which isn't much at all, but I don't like either team. Super awesome game, though. I can't believe I didn't shell out the cash to see the Heat. Oracle blows, but it would have been something special.

Woo, four in a row. I didn't catch the game but I'll take a win over not watching.

Looks like Portland won the Pace game again, and kept Phoenix well below their average.

Don't get the Simmons hate--much better than the normal,"he's not settling for jumpers tonight, he's going to be aggressive," "mama there goes that man," "good defense, better offense" shit.

This is true, I just don't like his nasal voice.

Well he missed all of training camp and played year round. Not just in Europe but international ball. Spurs fans know first hand how devastating that can be to a player's health. I'd rather the minutes start off very low and build up, ala Rob Horry when he was a Spur than for Splitter to get injured midseason. Besides, I think Splitter's skill set and bbiq will make it pretty easy for him to pick things up. He really is just a taller, more talented Oberto, which is good for us.

I like that Simmons picked a favorite documentary. Anyone else would have said "I can't pick a favorite, they're all great!"

Too bad he's wrong. Winning Time is the best doc.

I know you're half-joking, but Winning Time was indeed great. Reggie is still a dick though.

I got teary-eyed during The Guru of Go. Just sad as hell.

Into the Wind was also quite sad. Lot's of those are just Debbie Downers.

It was a great series though. I'd probably have to go with "The U".

What? Everything I said was truthful!

Jon Barry sounds like a GAF troll, I love it. Dampier sucks.

I wish we were playing better but this is an entertaining game so I can't complain.

Dampier the key for the Warriors. :lol

I'm still feeling pretty confident. I think they'll turn on the jets in the 3rd Q.
