EDIT: Nice hard foul on Wade. Maybe worth a flagrant, but you gotta be tough on the Heat like that otherwise they'll start showboating.

What do you tell a heat player with two black eyes?

Nothing! You have already told them twice!

Rose with a .400 3pt shot should scare most of the league.
He's shooting 42% on 4 attempts a game. Those are almost Steve Nash numbers. Scary indeed.

Is it just me or does Wade and Rose have VERY similar games.

The only difference is that Wade's God Mode is stronger and he's aware he can get superstar calls, so he runs into contact more. Whereas Rose still tries to avoid contact.

So the only difference is ones a good 3 pt shooter, v.good passer, and avoids contact while getting to the rim, vs very average 3pt shooter, good passer (but looks to pass less) and makes contact drawing the superstar calls?

I'm not so sure they're that similar other than they can both get to the rim at will.

I can see what you're saying but I think they score in different ways...and I think wade has a wider variety, obviously since he's been in the league longer

Fuck that... He treats his players like he owns them.. This is most definitely a reason to hate him

I don't think it is. He's paying Baron $60M+ to be an elite pg. If Baron's lack of discipline or lack of effort is causing him to be something considerably less than elite, Sterling is well within his rights, imo, to call him out on it.

If it was simply due to injury or other factors, I would agree with you, but everyone on this board has said he's mailing it in for a long while now.

That said, Sterling is the scum of the earth for many... many reasons.

Let's see how the season ends before we call Rose a good 3 pt shooter. It's only 20 games into the season, I'm pretty sure that average is going to come down.

Their team dynamics dictate certain differences but I think they're very close. I'm sure in a couple of years, Rose will start drawing more contact once he realizes how much easier it allows him to put points on the board.

Agreed.

But once Rose is in the league longer, I think the similarities will start to show more.

Fire him.. trade him.. But belittling another grown man used to end with a gun fight..

He treats his "young black stock" like slaves.. well paid slaves yes.. but his property.. This is why the talent jets from the Clippers as soon as their rookie contract is up, every time..

Every one of your posts I've read in the past couple of days has been regarding race (blackface cupcakes, nixon, now this). On point, though.

If you made a comment how the Bulls' play-by-play dude can't distinguish between Boozer and Taj Gibson (among others), I would explode.

Yeah, I enjoy that kind of discussion.. and someone needs to police those threads...

Blackface cupcakes were hawt..

If the Bulls play-by-play guy can't tell the difference between Boozer and Taj Jami Gibson (who the fuck names their kid that?) then it is time to look for new work.. it really isn't about race at that point..

I love discussions on race because someone inevitably rushes into the convo and says something that they think is innocuous, but is actually incredibly racist

edit: HOLYYYY SHITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT LEBRON

Hayward is having one of the worst seasons of any top ten pick in the history of basketball statistically and I think his stats are kind to him.

Darko's legendarily bad PER in his rookie season is way better than Hayward's.
Larry Brown

And he got no minutes to even figure out how American basketball is played.

Thabeet on the other hand...

Darko hardware, don't hate on HoF!

Jeremy Evans is ridiculous, he could be the next Shawn Kemp. Sad that the 55th pick is 10x better than 9th pick, but I'll take it. Time to trade Hayward to the Pacers for 4 second round picks.
