I didn't have real high expectations for Webster, but in a lot of ways, he's this team's Terry Porter. Only he's not washed up like Porter was circa 96.

I made it a rule of thumb to only sing Webster's praises when he has three consecutive games of good shooting. I like the guy, but his inconsistency was maddening.

Although, I will say this, he didn't stop shooting because his confidence was low, which is a lot better than some SFs I know.

His shooting isn't it entirely. It's stuff like how much better the defense looks. There's a better flow to things when he's playing.

Oh yeah. Last year he developed the sense to still bust ass defensively even if his offense wasn't going. Giant step for him.
 
I want physically harm Kurt Rambis. Ridnour looks like trash and he won't yank him. Worse is that he's kept him on Ellis when he's been killing Luke all game. I hate this fucking clown.

Bullshit. Webster, Wes, and Brew are all plus defenders. Rambis kept Ridnour on Ellis most of the night. And then when Rambis finally switches Brewer on to Ellis, he puts Ridnour on Williams. Way to go, moron.

That's what I meant. Guys on the floor cant guard him. No idea why Johnson is only playing 16 mins, Monta is terrible when you put a lengthy defender on him.

Rambis is truly the worst coach in the league. You have any of those 3 guy who could conceivably do a decent job on Ellis, and he keeps the guy Ellis has been murdering all night on him. Ridnour shouldn't have even been on the floor, much less tasked with defending Ellis.

Rambis is such a joke.
