Arenas for Shard deal is now complete! Not sure if the worst and second worst contracts in basketball have ever been traded for each other.

Joe Johnson's is the second worst, so no.

Wtf. Nelson is having a career year, too. Of course that dickhead Larry Brown would fuck over Augustin by trading for Nelson.

Having Arenas, Hedo and Jrich on the same team is strange.

Why get rid of Pietrus though?
Pietrus wasn't getting enough minutes or shots before the deal.

Richardson is a superior version of Pietrus anyways.

Moving Rashard Lewis to play Brandon Bass is a smart move. They didn't get Arenas to make him anything else than a 6th man. You can't have Gilbert responsible for distributing the ball to JRich, Dwight, Hedo, etc. It's too much. He'll be instant offense from the bench. It should be obvious to everyone.

I actually don't have any idea bout his current injury status...but I'm assuming they want to make sure he's 100%.
Tendinitis is a bitch injury if you're not playing because of it and you're under 24.

Griffin ftw.

And why is Sharp calling Wall a "grade-A jerkface", or something like that?
Because whenever Wall gets injured it just happens to be when some tough competition rolls up on the schedule.

We liked Earl (Clark) in the draft a few years ago, and he will help fortify our frontcourt.

Oh, Otis. :lol

I really do hope you're just being political.

Shhhh

I think Dark FaZe is still around.

This morning there is nothing... I come home from work to a blockbuster deal? Jesus :lol

Can't believe Hedo found his way back to Orlando. Too fucking funny :lol

Jokes aside, Orlando looks fucking legit in the Playoffs now assuming there won't be any internal struggle between Arenas and Van Gundy and if they can find a serviceable backup center.

Their only real rotation big off the bench now is Ryan Anderson. Oh dear. :lol

:lol

This Magic team. Are they even gonna pass? Nelson, Arenas, Richardson, and Howard are terrible passers. Turk being the best passer on the team.

:lol

Pretty major moves today.. not all that thrilled about giving up a 1st again (we've done this way too many times in recent years). Earl Clark seems like a total bust but the other additions are solid moves. I think Hedo will be reinvigorated by being back in Orlando.

I am excited to see Bass get more PT and hope we use Anderson more as he's a great scorer who deserves to be on the court a bit more.

If we use our 1st round picks on guys like Daniel Orton then trading them aint no big deal. Besides this year's draft is horrible beyond the Top 15.

Damn. Such pessimism.

But hey, I have been spoiled so much by late picks that I view them as more valuable than they probably are. :lol

Gotta give props to Bass. Came in as Rashard's back up, had to fight with Ryan Anderson for minutes, got tons of DNPs, never complained and just worked hard. Now management is confident enough in him to completely abandon the stretch 4 and start him.
