The problem begins and ends with Pau. When you throw the ball to Pau, often he'd get his shot blocked, ball stolen or misses badly. That takes a lot away from the offense. It might be because he's been playing too many minutes, but that has a lot to do with his conditioning.

Bynum is still not in good shape so he can't play starting minutes yet.

Defense isn't even the problem. The Heat shot 44%, the Spurs shot 42%.

Those were great additions, but everyone (myself included) didn't see the regression from the starters, even Kobe and Pau, coming. If Kobe/Pau were on their game the depth would be great. Kobe is straight asscheeks right now, lets get it out of the way. He's not going to be able to get younger or healthier, but he needs to figure out how to be more efficient.
