Who was it here that said high school players hit the wall at around 30 years old? It does seem like Kobe has hit the wall the last month or so. It seems like he's unable to create any space and he's always taking heavily contested shots.
That said, everybody wrote off Kobe last regular season too when he was recovering from the hand injury. Maybe Kobe is just in that stage along with Duncan, Garnett, Shaq, and other 90s players who can't really play a full 82 game regular season anymore at full capacity.
The other problem is that when Pau plays like ass, it puts even more of a burden on Kobe, which he simply can't carry anymore. I really think Pau is the epicenter of the Lakers funk.
