something about this game's visuals really appeals to me, im not sure what though - its very good at creating atmosphere and setting the mood for the story
its a shame there is nothing else to do such as side missions, still its one of my favourite open world games this gen

I just started playing this on PC yesterday. I love the art style myself. And the claptrap next to the nVidia logo "aHAAAA!". I laugh every time.

Agreed. Mafia 2 looks stunning!

Also, for Borderlands, can someone tell me if they can get Ambient Occlusion working? Back on my AMD card it wouldn't work and now it doesn't work on my Nvidia one either.

Crysis looks good but the Crysis levels in the Crysis 2 engine is tits.

It does some things better graphically and some things worse. I'm sure glad Crytek thought it would be wise to build a super glossy over saturated color pallet to address the "art direction" criticisms that only came from a small minority of console warriors who never played the game. In the end everybody lost out with a blurry mess of a game.

Also, GIANT MOTHERFUCKING GUNS.


Thankfully from what I've seen of Crysis 3 they have more color in the game, but have toned it down to a much more natural level.

Crysis definitely looks better than Crysis 2 vanilla. Crysis 2 still has the better lighting due to the having the superior engine.
Crysis 2 with DX11 ultra, high-res texture pack, Blackfire 2, MaldoHD texture pack, and ShonE Quality beats Crysis 1 in the technical department and looks hands down.

Check out the Revival Mod for Crysis 2 with all these upgrades. Makes Crysis 1 look bad (not outdated, though). Oh yeah, Crysis 2 is also hella optimized than Crysis

How do you guys get this imgae quality in mirrors edge? I'm using the 16q ingame setting and there is still some aliasing. Downsaompling doesn#t seem to work, above 1080p the menues look...weird.
