First post on Gaf! Been excited to post in this thread, and I'll be posting shots here in the future.

Been playing through some Darksiders recently, got it running with downsampling and some forced MSAA/SS/AF with Nvidia inspector. Had to use a hex edit tool to get downsampling working, no AA or AF settings, and the FOV can't be changed.

This game is the definition of console port, but fun nevertheless and the textures are actually pretty crisp.

Its downsampled from 2560x1440.

Agree! I'd love to see some old F1s and some protos. The details in the old F1's engines is amazing.

Nope. It's being renamed to Project CAR later this week.

It's harmless, Steam doesn't care. It just needs a .exe that matches the name that Steam looks for.

If you were to go into a visualization of the culmination of gaming moments that have stuck with me throughout the years, you'd find it to be an amazing place with paintings and posters and projections of vistas, explosions, characters, situations, epic battles screaming out in a quiet chaos of beauty...

You would eventually come to a vault at the very depths of this place. Inside this vault, you would hear Tavern 4, Chicago Stealth, Terra's Theme, and Apothesis. You would be surrounded by relief sculptures of World 1-1 from Mario, every title screen from super smash bros series, my cartridge of Starcraft 64, Perfect Dark, and a series of moments from Half-life 2, including this one.


So many moments in Half-life that I will never ever forget.

Loved the second, thought the first was too repetitive, but had the best shotgun ever and some fun AI. This one's nothing special so far, but I don't hate it. It's a very generic shooter, but it retains the nice feeling of weight and movement for your character that the second game had. The story sucks, though.

Yeah. It's a shame that neither of Fear 2 and 3 cant touch the awesome that was the first Fear game (Expasions included). That game was ACTUALLY freaky. The latter two were just shooters with strange moments thrown in IMO.

The only weak link in that fantastic game is replay value, playing as a stealthh game i was able to gain every worthwhile upgrade for Adam. So he was too well rounded and that?s a fault in this types of games.
