2012 High-Res PC Screenshot Thread of Don't Use Imgur

Is there some kind of workaround to make SMAA and FXAA injector files work with D3DOverrider? I really like that sweet cheap AA but I don't want to give up triple buffering.

I know that AMD users can force triple buffering in RadeonPro and that doesn't interfere with the injectors, but is there anything like that for Nvidia?

How many games do you really need D3DOverrider for nowdays? Most support triple buffering natively.

I've always used nvidia inspector to force triple buffering and it works with FXAA and SMAA injectors, I never knew D3Doverrider messed with them.

Nvidia Inspector.

Most, eh? I knew that Battlefield 3 and Portal 2 both support it, but what else does?

All source games, Alan Wake, Arma 2, all CODs, Crysis, most UE3 games, gamebryo games...there are a few that dont support it like Assassin's Creed games but it's much more common for games to use it than not.

Most times it will just be the normal vsync setting and wont be specifically labelled.

Very interesting, thanks for the heads up!

When using Nvidia Inspector do I need to leave it running in the background? It seems to me like it's just like an advanced Nvidia Control Panel and that already runs in the background anyway.

No, it is just an advanced profile app, not an injector. Just remember to hit "Apply Changes" and you're good to go.

Got a new monitor! Supports 2560x1440! Pretty neat!

Now I want more games to be ported to PC. Especially MT Framework games as I always know their performance is super high. Give me Dragon's Dogma darnit!

Why are my images such low quality? Does it have to do with using Steam to capture them? What program should I be using?

I wish I had a computer that could run that game at good fps at high settings. I haven't played it since getting it for free 2 years ago.

Look at the URL, it's DMC4
Yeah, because the OP clearly states "All screens must be labelled... or have the name of the game in the URL somewhere maybe."

Jerk.

PS. Prey looking DAMN good. It's amazing just how good *really* old games look after going overboard with AA etc. on newer PCs. Take the screens I took of Sega Rally Revo, for example.

I wasn't trying to be a jerk, I'm saying that's one way of figuring it out if someone hasn't said what game is was

Hooray, finally registered and authorized for posting!

Yeah, I pretty much did it exclusively so I can post in this thread. I just love eye candy, and this thread is absolutely chock-full of it!

To start off, have some Phantasy Star Online 2, run with 2x2 supersampling, FXAA (probably overkill), and ambient occlusion:

(Btw, if my screen resolution changes partway through, it's because I recently got a monitor upgrade. Woo!)

No Imageshack, guys. And try to post PNGs not JPGs. We try to have lossless images here as compression kills their quality. Other sites have strict rules about image size, I know, but we're pretty much the opposite.

BioShock Infinite is like playing some homeless guy's vivid imagination
Arkham City never ceases to blow my mind visually. I can't think of a more visually consistent game this generation, to be honest. The quality of its animations and details are just absolutely fucking insane. Amazing facial animations and lip-syncing too.

I'm going to try and put any special settings or forms of AA I'm using just in case there's anything anyone wants to try out. I think I spend more time screwing around with different things like that than actually playing the games.
