PSO is the one MMORPG I'd play if I were into paying subscription fees.

PSO2 is F2P, if you didn't know. There's no pay-wall for unlocking content or anything, and the restrictions are pretty reasonable (just no direct trading, putting stuff up for sale on the broker/"My Shop", or "My Room" access). Mind, I've been enjoying the game enough, and SEGA has been brisk enough with the updates, that I haven't felt the slightest guilt over spending a small pile of money on the game.

It probably helps that the game is a major nostalgia bomb for me, so I'm supporting them just for the sake of seeing more of this sort of thing in the future.

Oh... and you can impale things on your sword and throw them! That helps, too.

...But you do have to get used to seeing people wearing wedding dresses into combat.

I did not know that... I should probably wait until I finish these games people got me of their own kind initiative... with PSO, Mechwarrior Online, and Hawken during school year, paid-for games have no chance at getting my time.

I will admit, as a C&C fan I did play this game quite a bit online. It had it's moments and the effects were really very pretty.

Singleplayer is out of this world awful though.

One of the most wonderful things about this game is how bosses can (and will) show up at random during missions.

In this case, Tranmaizer showed up in a rather narrow corridor, making things rather hectic for me and my entourage...

(Yes, it's blurry. I still like it. Oh, and that's a guy in a rappy suit if you're wondering.)

If you're talking about the first one, that's because the source was like that (motion blur!), and it was a .bmp, so it's not that, heh. If the second is blurry, on the other hand... Well, it shouldn't be. Comparing the shots from the .bmp source to the skydrive .png, I am unable to tell the difference (so if it seems blurry to you now, the source would as well). I am using FXAA though, so that may or may not be contributing.

As a test, let's see if these hold up:
