On the other side of that monitor was massive Blops 2 spoilers. Thank you based Dennis for only screenshotting the back of it.
That Walking Dead spoiler is pretty fucked up
lol @ spoiling a story-heavy game like the Walking Dead. What the fuck was the poster thinking?
>caring about spoilers
Especially since there's isn't much point in putting that game in the screenshot thread. It looks all right but you're not playing that game for the graphics. Telltale's engine sucks.
This thread needs a unified spoiler rule on releases. Maybe 1/2 week waiting period where things seen in press before release are all ok, then after that you can post what you like.
This way 1. people can post screens, those wanting to view IQ can do so in the first week/two.
And 2. people can't complain if they see a spoiler after week 1/2 , no matter how big.
How about people just use common sense and not post obvious story spoilers?
How about people just use common sense and not post obvious story spoilers?
I mean, it should not be that hard to do.
Its not realistic to expect people to know exactly what has been show in press before release.
Personally, I am fine with later areas of a game being show, don't come here if you don't want to see later stages of a game.
No, some people need to see the IQ of a PC game before they decide to buy, how dare you deny a short 1 week spoiler-free grace period to your Graphic-Whoring PC Brothers. For Shame.
It will stop people from complaining because the rule would also be that you can post anything else after that without issue, anyone complaining about spoilers after a week would be fucking stupid. I'm trying to reach across the isle here, bro.
*Sees people yelling about spoilers.
*Looks at spoilers.
*Gets spoiled.
Dammit, why did I look at that?
The one I worked on CCC,Hey you guys, what's the absolute best looking Crysis config?
But I don't think people should be posting obvious story spoilers after a week, or ever, in fact.
The thread is about showcasing the graphics and cool screenshots - not spoiling stories.
If we make an explicit rule saying everything goes after a week then we will end up getting more spoilers than we get right now.
double penetration
Hitman - Downsampled.

Check 'em.
@Sethos, how did you get 3rd person in Blops?
On the other side of that monitor was massive Blops 2 spoilers. Thank you based Dennis for only screenshotting the back of it.
Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn>thinking this is a chan
Yeah, this is kind of important. Honestly, screenshots are really light when it comes to 'spoiler territory'. They're largely devoid of context, and really, just because you know what happens doesn't mean the moment it does will have lost any of its emotional gravity. Also if you think games are about the WHO or WHAT and not the WHY, you're doing it wrong.
Thanks for the impressions, I really want to try it but my financial situation as of recently prevents me from randomly splurging on games. Maybe a future sale for me.

Exactly my fucking point.
You need the 310.54 Beta Driver : Link to Detailed Info on 310.54 Beta Driver | Link to 310.54 Beta Driver
For TXAA (you need a Kepler GPU), install the driver then in Call of Duty, 2xTXAA and 4xTXAA will appear as AA options after 8xMSAA and 16xCSAA. Make sure to turn FXAA off. Like MSAA in Call of Duty, TXAA works with TrSSAA and SGSSAA when enabled via the inspector. For SGSSAA, grab the NVIDIA Inspector. In the Inspector set the following,
Antialiasing - Mode : Override any application setting
Antialiasing - Setting : 4x [4x Multisampling]
Antialiasing - Transparency Supersampling : 4x Sparse Grid Supersampling
(I don't downsample).
I don't know about 'epitome', it's not as thorough and more performance-hungry (since you're basically brute-forcing it) than even SGSSAA. Plus refresh rate issues etc.You should, it's the epitome of AA methods and less cumbersome than fiddling with individual inspector bits on a game by game basis.

I treat it as a last resort for games that have no other (non-post) method of anti-aliasing.

Only because you never actually go as high-res as SGSSAA (with exception for some posters here).I've always found downsampling to be WAY less of a performance hog than SGSSAA.

This.
I have a 120Hz monitor and I don't want to consider the idea to go at inferior refresh rates.![]()
