Get the 310.54 beta driver. Grab the NVIDIA Inspector. Then choose 4xTXAA in game in the AA option, and before starting the game set the following settings in the NVIDIA Inspector,

I've tried it and it's definitely my fav IQ until now.:

It seems to blend crispness with a soft, not-invasive touch.
Feels clear and 'photographic' at same time.
Too bad for the AO, but I hope in a future fix by driver.

I admit, I appreciate the improved FPS and intense clarity of downsampling. I still don't like the leftover temporal aliasing (SGSSAA is still better for that), but it also plays nicer with effects like motion blur and doesn't seem to drop my FPS quite as hard in particle clouds. But of course, I'm also not playing at x4 resolution, so of course it doesn't look as good. If only I could... If only...

The two games have nothing to do with each other outside of coming out on the same day.

And yeah they both have very different scopes when it comes to the size of the game world and such. Could be said that Hitman's crazy production values may have been an obstacle towards having larger, more intricate level design throughout the game.

Definitely is purdy though.

No, not dangerous. It'll stress it more obviously but that goes without saying. Although that guru3d guide is a bit redundant on modern gpus I believe, if I'm not wrong all you gotta do now is literally just create a custom resolution of say 2560x1440 and that's that - no need to fiddle with timings, pixel clock, refresh rate and total pixels etc. I didn't even have to force my gpu to scale the picture.
