downsampled from 1600p hence why it looks crisper

AMD. That's from trying 4xEQ SSAA. This is just 4x.
Weak. And there's no downsampling with custom resolutions via AMD, right?
There's gotta be a form of SSAA that works with HP2010 on AMD...
I believe you can get SSAA working with Hot Pursuit with the 10.10e drivers for AMD. You don't even have to install them, just extract them to a folder and use RadeonPro's driver compatibility tool to have it use those drivers when you run that game.

Oddly enough I learned how to do SSAA on AMD from your guide scitek so I'm surprised you're having issues.
Yeah, that screen is with 4xSSAA enabled. lol, it's just shit.

I wish downsampling through drivers were possible. You'd think it would be. The SSAA Tool app I found does it, but only with, I think 4 games that I've found. Crysis, Crysis 2, Arkham City and The Witcher 2 (which is pointless since it has the Ubersampling option, anyway). I'd love to be able to downsample everything just to mess around with it.
EDIT: While I'm on the subject, the thing that pisses me off about AMD is the fact that they disable forcing AA through drivers a lot of times. If you even try to force it, nothing happens. Case-in-point, Hot Pursuit. In order to force any kind of AA aside from MLAA, you have to use the RadeonPro tool as mentioned above to make it load the game with drivers from 2010. WTF kind of dumbass shit is that? There are so many games where I have to settle for no AA at all, or some shitty injected FXAA that blurs everything, it's inane. I like the performance I get, but the lack of options is annoying. It's not like my 6950 was cheap.

No, mine. The one BoobPhysics quoted is 4x. I do have motion blur disabled, though.

I dunno if SSAA doesn't work as well on AMD GPU's as of right now, but I still see a few jaggies in that screen. :\

This is just vanilla Skyrim 1920x1080 with AO on from inspector, 16AF, everything on, fxaa, Ultra.
Also, isn't this one of the spots people go to to test their FPS? I'm only getting 37 here.

Some say that SkyBoost works better than TESVAL (here vs TESVAL V3 and here vs V4). Both are excellent, and hopefully Bethesda can implement whatever these two do to vanilla Skyrim.

So what specs do you have and what frame rates do you guys get at that part at the top of White Run? I may break down and try modding this weekend, but I've never done it so we'll see.

I dunno, vanilla Whiterun isn't so bad...
(maxed + AO, no fancy mods (well, I think the tree might be part of the Flora overhaul), just a slight blue shift color correction)
Edit: Oops, was playing with the config earlier and forgot to re-enable the sharpen that offsets the bit of blur the injector adds, even for just color correction. You realize Skyboost/TESVAL gave me a 15-25 FPS boost... on a 4.5 Ghz 2500k.
