Williams could definitely do the dunk he was trying to do in the third round but he was clearly too tired to even come close. I feel like he should have done this dunk first so he would have had the energy to do it. Jumping over the motorcycle was something he could have done in the last round as a final little thing before the voting ended.

3 point contest was a joke. Durant and Love lucked into the final round because all the good shooters choked, and in the final round they showed how average they are. The point is they shouldn't even be in the contest in the first place. They are career 35% 3-point shooters, surely the NBA has a lot better shooters than that.

Seriously though I'm so torn on this years game. Sometimes it clicks and other times it feels broken/cheap/trash all at the same time.

By that I mean, it's broken because some moves are broken enough that you will score all de time (post up turnaround jumper is registered as an open shot, so take your best scorer/shooter, post up, turnaround profit). It's cheap tho that the AI is the Mario Kart AI of basketball games, if they decide that they will make every shot they fucking will and there ain't shit you can do about it no matter the team they will stay in it unless you cheap out wins. The trash comes from some gameplay decisions that suck. The game kinda forces you to call plays which at first seems like a good thing until you realize the plays either suck or take to long.


I don't know man. It's occasionally fun, and it does stop cheesers, but playing the AI sucks and playing others you can't stop a damn thing.

Lovehate things for me since I play it a lot just not as much as 2k11.

I follow the league pretty closely, I just make it a rule to make sports games once a generation purchases. No way I'm paying the premium for minimal updates and roster changes.
