bwahwahwa most clutch my ass. Carmello is as clutch as LeBron is.
Yes. And thats the point. Why keep a horrible HORRIBLE franchise in town when the owners aren't paying shit. Get the tax payers -- who are consistently being told by politicians that they have to cut back on necessities -- to pay hundreds of millions of dollars.
Didn't you just list the general problems of California?
you think i give a shit about how many records he sold? He is terrible.

I call this, the LeBron effect.
Who gives a shit what you think?
At least the Lakers (and now Clippers and Warriors) are financially viable.
The Kings are stuck in the dreaded Late Lottery Limbo. Can't see them getting out of that.
They've picked 7, 4, and 5 the last 3 years so I think the Kings would be stoked if they were in the late lottery. It would mean their Jay Bilas all-stars are actually getting it.
Seriously? You chided Seattle and Washington state for not ponying up for a half a billion dollar arena to keep the Sonics. But Sacramento pays for a portion of a new arena and they're clowns.
Wiki said:On February 12, 2007, Bennett proposed using tax money to pay for a new $500 million arena in a Seattle suburb. After failing to reach a deal by the end of the legislative session, Bennett gave up his attempt in April 2007. On November 2, 2007 the team announced it would move to Oklahoma City as soon as it could get free of its KeyArena lease. Seattle's mayor, Greg Nickels, maintained the stance that the Sonics were expected to stay in Seattle until their lease expired in 2010 and said that the city did not intend to make it easy for Bennett to move the team early. Over concerns that the city would accept a buyout of the lease, a grassroots group filed a citywide initiative that sought to prevent the city from accepting such an offer from Bennett's group. The Seattle City Council later unanimously passed an ordinance modeled after the initiative.

Just seen this lol, looked like he was high as fuck.
Seattle lost the team before the recession hit, first of all.
Secondly, Seattle is a metropolitan and has a much larger economy than Sacramento
Seattle SuperSonics history as an organization goes back much farther than the Kings
The two situations are not even comparable.
WTF are you even talking about? Kobe having a jello nose is a shortcoming of Wade? Wayne being disliked by some guy on a forum is a shortcoming, despite him being one of the hottest guys in the game and selling a shit load of records?
You need to learn what a shortcoming is.
Lol. Maybe I'm getting old, because I couldn't care less about him being 'one of the hottest guys in the game'. Smh. The dude has a mouth full of metal and stones... wears snow boots to NBA games... drinks couch syrup like it's water.
Oh wait, you're just protecting a fellow Heat Life Long. Never mind, carry on.

You're such a clown.
And the Kings' history dates back to the 1940s, sport.
Just read this Antawn Jamison and Ramon Sessions for Marvin Williams and Kirk Hinrich trade rumor.
Why bitches gotta be playing with my emotions like that?
GET IT DONE YO
Would be funny if Orlando gave up an protected pick for next years draft for Nash...basically the ultimate gamble in hopes of keeping Dwight.
That would be my asking price if I was Phoenix anyway.
Why would you want Marvin Williams's contract?
He roots for LAL dumbass.

The real problem is moving to OKC. Even if it's profitable it's just bad business. Moving from the 12 largest tv market to the 22nd, from a city known for basketball and NBA players (brandon roy, jason terry, jamal crawford) to a state that's known for it's college football.

Maybe he stays in MIA? Naw...Attends Heat games = Lakers fan
But who gives a shit about what team he roots for any way. I find it more interesting that you even care that he's 'one of the hottest guys in the game'.
Like seriously, who gives a shit. His 'music' won't last the test of time... and I'm just hoping I'm around to see such days.
Can you imagine:
"Grandpa, what kind of music did you listen to when you were young?"
"Lil Wayne."
LOL.
I like how the ref's like "looks at this weaksauce" too

Very awesome and infectious.
Well I wouldn't be surprised if its worked out for the owners. But with Sacramento the franchise stinks. The owners are putting up spare change and getting the tax payers to front the majority of the cost to keep them there. Its ridiculous in the present economic client.

But no I don't really care that he's hot.
I just find it hilarious that you feel your opinion matters in a sea of millions of others.
It's always ridiculous. Arenas a really bad investment for any community. It should never be the taxpayers' responsibility to take on the enormous debt from that for a private business.
And that's why your argument is stupid. You're saying in breath that basketball teams are a public asset and it's Seattle fault the Sonics left. But then in another that the Kings aren't a public asset and for Sacramento to pay for only a portion their new arena is dumb.
You can't have it both ways. Are teams a public asset or aren't they? Is it the community's responsibility to finance an arena or not?

iamshadowlark just likes to argue, doesn't matter the subject.
This page made that crystal clear for me.
Dude, he was the captain of his debate team. Of course he likes to argue. Don't all of us like to argue? We're here because we enjoy the banter.
Max Kellerman just said that Kobe was telling LeBron the 'Kobe System' last night.
"I want more from you, LeBron. More. Success + Success. You're welcome."

Actually it's not as cut and dry as you'd like to make it seem. In a recession it's inexcusable to ask the tax payer to put up funding for a sporting arena. During an economic boom it's not as problematic to ask the tax payers to pay for an arena.
They call it an albatross. A mistake. Worst decision ever.
These are some of the ways Minneapolis leaders describe the bailout of Target Center in 1995.
Minneapolis owes roughly $55 million from its purchase of the arena. But the home of the Timberwolves -- which is managed privately -- also has taken annual operating subsidies of about $1.6 million from the city. New figures released last week predict that the city will have to spend more than $32 million over the next decade to keep Target Center up to date.
Omri Casspi is currently starting for the Cavs.

So paying off Target Center 17 years later is acceptable because the economy was good in 1995. Or maybe not because the Timberwolves may or may not be a public asset.
Really man? You're using the T-Wolves as an example? REALLY? The team that has never gone to a finals? The team that has been a laughing stock for the better half of two decades? Come on. Take a look at some successful franchises. If you're a successful franchise who is consistently sold out, consistently in the playoffs, consistently in the finals, hosts all star games, etc. I'm pretty confident that it won't be the same as a team like the freaking T-Wolves.
