2012 NBA Playoffs |OT2| OKC VS LA: Black on Black Crime

I been saying that they are overrated the whole time. I had Clippers to win this series for the record.

I'd give them(the Spurs) the edge in this series , 6 or 7 games guess but I laugh at the matchup problems they cause the Thunder and that the Spurs will roll over THEM.

Then again, I think the Lakers still can get back in the series or make it one.

I think the regular season matters somewhat(many here don't think it does) but that's that and last year's playoffs and all that...

I'll never demean the Spurs(Gary Neal scares me) and I think they are better than the Clippers but anything can happen at this stage of the playoffs.

Especially when you have Chris Paul and Nick Young playing like a maniac.

I agree. The Clips are a really good team, and I don't think anyone should underestimate them. They have an incredible bench + 2 really good superstars.

But I can't remember the last time I've seen a team like these Spurs. As a fan, I can't help but be excited.

The Clippers-Spurs season series is essentially meaningless. The Clippers lost a blowout game before they really got used to each other, then they lost a game that they should have won due to the stupidity of a guy who's not even on the team anymore. They finally won when Tony Parker was out hurt. Really, none of the games seem to be an indicator of how this series will play out.

Clippers got Young too. Then again, we got rid of RJ and got JJJJJAAAXXX. Bottom line, I agree.

I don't know why no one talks about the Clipper bench. Just won them game 7 in Memphis. And ofc everyone talks about the Pacers' when their's is consistently terrible.

Because it's more fun to clown on the Clippers, I guess.

I think they can be really competitive in this series.

Bledsoe is super athletic and strong, has a decent midrange and is still learning

Nick Young is a pure scorer when he gets going. X-Factor right there.

Kenyon Martin is a beast on defense and can knock down the midrange jumper.

Reggie Evans is strong, and irritating as hell when on defense, and is great at grabbing boards.

Mo-Gotti is another, smaller version of Nick Young, with a little more speed thrown in.

yeah, their bench is pretty damn good, especially when they get in a groove. They don't have a Ginobli but how many teams do?

Green on Paul, trap on CP3 when he penetrates and then collapse after the pass to Evans.

Memphis are you watching?

I think the Pacers should be watching how the SPurs get the ball to Duncan even though the Clippers are fronting him. They could try the same thing with Hibbert*

*I fell asleep at the end of the first quarter and caught the last few minutes of the 4th. Don't know if the Pacers adjusted or not

Yeah, the bench has been pretty terrible all year. They've stepped up big time though. Huge in Memphis and are playing well right now.

I think Kenyon is the big key. I thought he was a good signing at the time but he really struggled during the season. Not sure why because he played in China so he wasn't out of shape. But last series he seemed to get his act together.

Bledsoe missed half the season and is back. He helps. And of course Nick Young is an upgrade over Simmons/Gomes. And Mo is streaky

Reggie is terrible and will return to it, I'm pretty sure of it. We only have his entire career to go on. But their bench now is better than 2 months ago. Their problem is their starters are weak after Cp3/Griffin.

He was in CBA shape. Which is a long way short of NBA shape.

He looked lost at the speed of the game for a few weeks.

Watching these games is making me even more depressed as a Bulls fan. With a healthy Rose, I think we could have beat any of these teams (with OKC and the Spurs favored of course.)

Now our team is already over the cap for next year even though our best player won't be healthy until 2013-2014.

Somebody on twitter is dying that Danny granger is good and thinks Indiana is a good team with a good offense lol

I couldn't hold my rage in

Not really...

uhhh, yes. The Clippers were 16.5 points better with Evans on the bench than on. Do you know how horrible a -16.5 is? Their defense was 6 points worse and offense 10 points worse. He had maybe the worst mark in the league for someone who got that many minutes.

He also turned the ball over a shit ton. Cannot shoot outside of layups. Horrible FT%. Cannot pass. Is ignored on offense. And he fouls a ton. And can't play defense (except against Zbo apparently)

He has had one of the worst seasons any player in the league had this year (that actually played). He only has one skill, rebounding.

It pains me to see that this fool:

has actually made something of himself in the NBA.
