Eh there's no possible analysis one can do to come to a conclusion that Kobe is better than LeBron. The numbers don't even compare

oh by the way, 9-25 shooting from Kobe tonight. Elite

lol

Just like Avatar was gonna flop? And Hillary was gonna win the Presidency?

Right PD? Right?

Wow. Now that game is what you call a heart breaker...

That was seriously one of the best games I've seen the Lakers play defensively. They did everything right the entire game.... and then the final 2 minutes happened and everything went to shit. Total meltdown. Kobe was the biggest problem in those last 2 minutes too. No question about it.

Games like these have to have a psychological burden that carries over into the next game. The Lakers almost had a hard earned win on the road against a team they have no business beating. You could almost taste that win...

If the Lakers come out deflated in game 3 I wont even raise an eyebrow. I'll be more than content if they even keep it competitive like they did tonight.

WTF Kobe

Kobe being Kobe is him making a lazy pass to Pau?

Whatever. Blake and Ron were the only lakers to hit a single shot outside 20 feet. Not even Kobe hit one. Dude was going to take a bad shot to redeem himself and fail, anyway.

I ain't going to shit on Blake who played better D on Harden in the 4th than Kobe or excuse Kobe for fucking them up.

I'm not giving any excuses for Kobe, it was some bullshit mistakes by him. I just think its stupid to try a 3pter by some scrub, give it to one of the big three for the last shot, thats all.

man, Lakers did everything they needed to do.

Mike Brown did make the right adjustments. Defense looked great. Ron slowed down Durant a lot. WB didn't do shit. Harden was the only problem. Scored in the paint. Controlled tempo. Shut out the fast break and 3s.

Did everything they had to do to win in OKC. Everything. Until Kobe fucked up the final 2 minutes of the game.

Fucking bitter taste in my mouth.

i have zero problems with Blake, who has proven to hit clutch shots, taking a wide open corner shot (which he loves). none at all. No one else was open.

Do you think Kobe could have done a better job of trying to get the inbound???

I am sure he was gassed and they already had to take a timeout prior but dam...

That foul a few plays earlier was huge for the Thunder as Kobe would have gotten off a makeable shot.

And just yesterday I proclaimed that Lebron was still living off entirely of that 2007 ECF performance.

That series was actually the first glimpse at his anti-clutchness. In game 1 of that series, Lebron was crucified for driving to the hoop, then skipping a shot to pass to a wide open Donyell Marshall for a last second 3 that would have won the Cavs the game. The next game, the same situation reared it's head. This time Lebron kept the ball on the drive and got a good look. And missed.

You wouldn't be saying that as a Blazers fan:

So what? He hit one last series. He hit about 2 during the season. At least one or 2 last year.

No one can make every single shot, man, even open. Blake will hit over 50% of those. He just happened to miss this one.

There was a play ran and WB fell asleep. So Ron broke the play, correctly. Kobe was gonna come back middle for the ball.

The shot by Kobe in the corner was also a turnover. And he shot that 3 with 6 on the clock...

OKC will continue to turnover the ball, but they won't shoot like that in a half again. It's absolutely remarkable that OKC won this game. LA did everything right and OKC still won.

I remember a game a few years ago against the Baron Davis/Zach Randolph Clippers where Blake bricked like 5/8 freethrows in OT and lost Portland the game.

You have a very different perception of Blake's clutchness. Don't let two shots fool you.

confirmation bias. You can do this with any player in the league. I don't think Blake is "clutch," but he can make that shot. He's proven it.

Remember how you would make fun of Durant for being unclutch? Well, he has 2 game winning shots in the playoffs this year alone.

*sigh*

If the Lakers lose game 3 like we all know they will, its a sweep

Looks like a quick turnover for the WCF

God damnit

All I want is one game Lakers-age

Is your team that ass that they can't get one game for us?

And this is why being a pessimistic Lakers fan is the best. I ain't even mad.

shut up

being a pessimistic fan is just a way for people to cover all their bases. So when their team loses they can say "lolz guys i ain't even mad" like your dumb ass just did. And when their team wins they can celebrate like everyone else.

it's a sad practice

Thank you, Kenny is calling out Kobe for wasting the clock on the last play.

I was yelling at Kobe to attack quickly. He wasted all the time for a heroic shot. I know Kobe. He wanted the last second shot to win the game to redeem himself. This is his mentality but it's the wrong one. it's a selfish one. He fucked them up.

A bit off-topic but holy shit, I just saw a banner of LINSANITY with a text like "How Linsanity Happened" or something on the lower ad of GAF. :lol

The first turnover was inexcusable. But that 2nd one, Blake should have gone elsewhere. You can't risk forcing that pass. Wow, this one will haunt Kobe for a whie. Just don't get swept, guys. Oh and where was Ron on Durant's last layup?

Man, there is just no way they play a game that complete again... No fucking way.

I mean, for god sakes, Steve Blake was a competent defender tonight on Harden. I never thought I'd utter that fucking sentence, and I most likely never will till the day I draw my last breath. Wish he could hit a wide open shot though. That would be nice... ugh

If you aren't mad, you aren't a fan. Look, I didn't think they were winning this series, but I am fucking pissed they blew that game. How can you not be?

He got screened and Bynum picked him up. I thgouht Drew fouled him but refs didn't call it. Would have been ball out of bounds.

Brown confirms final play was called for kobe on a flare screen.
