wonder if stern is looking for flops.
Are the Heat the favorites for this series? Or so I thought? You can't deny Heat has some talent even with Bosh out, I'm just curious how it was such a blow out. If Pacers just outplayed them or their stars were moronic like Kobe was last night.
Favorites as defined by who? The media? Sure. But they've overrated the Heat from the start. Bron didn't get 3 MVPs by accident.
The Pacers outplayed them and the Heat's stars were moronic. The latter can be expected because thats who those players are, but not enough has been said about the former. The Pacers are a great team.
I dunno, the Spurs are an extremely smart team and well balanced, but I wouldn't use this series as a gauge of how well they will do against better teams.
Their strengths are really pronounced against a poorly disciplined Clippers team.
The Clippers have no offensive sets. They simply attempt to run a pick and roll every play, and if they can't get it, they either play one-on-one or swing it around until somebody has to jack up a shot before the shot clock runs out. The Spurs don't even need to play physically tough D, they just have to see the basic plays ahead of time and cut off obvious routes and the Clips will do themselves in.
On the flip side, well the Clips play no structured D. They rely purely on physical talent but rarely make a strong effort. Quick passes and cutting players will always find a hole.

How many in a row are needed to gauge this team? They're the most unsung 16-game winner I've seen in awhile.
Wow that was crazy.
Clearly heard Blake talking to the ref.
I know it's incredibly preemptive, but based on how each team is playing, I can't help but picture a Spurs-Celtics final right now. Which would be funny considering how everyone thought the shortened season would kill these veteran-laden teams.

would someone please get Blake some help?
there's just no way the spurs don't chip this year, just no way.
Aight, we'll just use the last 31 games to judge them instead.

Yup.
Still an absurdly good team.
Thuggery for one.
What did he say?
Your spurs look so good. They are in the Kobe ignoring Chris Rock zone. Totally focused on the trophy.Something about having gotten hit harder than that earlier without a call
Pretty irrelevant at that point ofc; the game was over
What?
Queensbridge Peace and that goon Bynum aren't getting past the Thunder let alone the Spurs
so Lebron goes 22-7 and we get a bunch of posts
Paul goes 10 pts and 8 TO's... nothin
lolGriffin with 1 rebound in 37 mins.

TD has caught up with Kobe.If Spurs win this year what does that do for Duncans legacy?
Honestly if he wins this year he eclipses Kobe IMO.TD has caught up with Kobe.

Well, most people already consider him the greatest PF in history, so......
Agreed.Best player in the post Jordan era.
