Why are spurs boring to watch? I don't think they are. They move the ball well, not a lot of iso. They play very crisp. I like watching ball like that.

Also, who was saying Duncan could maybe play the 3 out of college?

Probably the same person who said Tyson Chandler was a 3.

Ill start doing something and my mind invariably returns to 5 points? Really? Thats it?

I have already said this before but I would drop a good amount of money if the NBA released the whole season with all dialogue of the players put up to audible levels.
I mean I know they are probably only say 1 of 3 words with a couple out of taste references to each others moms but still I would find it entertaining as hell.

been saying this. He's the 3rd best player on a title team, not 1 or 2. Offense is too limited and defense is nonexistent. He's Amare Jr.

Amare was good enough to be the second best guy on a title team, though. Griffin isn't a fraud but he's still incredibly raw. Has a bad attitude, too. He really needs a proper coach.

Second year in the NBA.

The Clippers are pretty badly beat up.

The supporting cast for CP3 and Griffin is horrible and their third and fourth best players are Eric Bledsoe and K-Mart. They start DeAndre Jordan, ***** ****, and Caron Butler ffs.

Griff is still young, and he's obviously working on a J, but you're both right.

He also isn't PHX Amare good yet.

Tons of potential though. And he seems to work hard.

But his on court attitude is rubbish.

cause he has a bunch of stupid fucking yes-men around him telling him he's awesome because of the sweet alley oop dunk he had but then he fails to realize the non-highlight plays were pretty awful. he has one move to the paint (drive and spin towards the middle, throw up a contested shot, whine for a foul). his release on his jumper is so slow too and he gets bodied pretty badly by guys who outweigh him. you might say "well obviously!" but rodman was a great rebounder because he had excellent technique and could anticipate spots. blake just looks bad right now

I know its early but I don't like some of the stuff I'm seeing. Its hard to believe he'll just turn that around. He might get better, but it could just be in the areas where he's already good. Remember how people thought LeBron would just magically develop a post game by his 6th or 7th year? That isn't automatic.

It was the talk before the draft. He can play 3 positions! Yadda yadda yadda.

And he could. We ran some 3 big lineups early on. No one but Spurs fans remember it of course, but Tim at the 3 isn't completely out of whack.

He was, by the strictest definition of the term, a power forward. Versatile enough to do it all, but primarily a power forward. Just watch a few highlights from the first 2/3rds of his career and thats plain to see.

That's his biggest problem. I don't have any scientific data to back this up, but I think stubborn whiners have a lot more trouble improving. Crossing my fingers the T Wolves make a run next year and Love gets the attention he deserves. Now he's a power forward you can build a team around.

I know it wont happen.

But in all seriousness, Dwight would make a lot of sense on the Wolves next to love.

A lot.

Especially if rubio comes back fully healthy. Rubio feeding dwight, people not being able to double on dwight with love able to shoot the 3. Love's spacing. Dwights ability to protect the rim. Rubio being able to guard PG's.

If Derrick Willams develops into the SF i think he is. They'd then just need someone better than wes johnson, and they'd be very very hard to beat.

By the third year out of high school with Nash, Amare was averaging 30 ppg and 11rpg in the playoffs. The guy was a beast. CP3 can't even make Griffin look decent in the half court. Griffin has a lot of holes in his game on both sides of the court. He'll always have his T-Rex arms.

Well yeah giri.

Dwight makes a lot of sense for every team.

But regardless, I think Kevin Love is the future of this league as long as the Wolves don't fuck it up. Hes an absurd talent, and hes only getting better.

Can anyone explain why Dexter Pittman got the start for the Heat tonight? Was Spoelstra trying to make some kind of strange statement with that decision or something?

Yeah, big man in Minnesota with incredible talent; they should really go places! Sounds a bit familiar, though. Whatever happened to that guy who was the same-

Kevin Love isn't even signed to the max. If The Wolves can't improve their roster by that time frame, he's gone. Kevin Love isn't going to be like KG and give that organization the benefit of the doubt. I think Rubio is their franchise player, not Love. He's the one you should build around.

if only the Wolves can find a marginal player like Joe Smith to pay under the table and risk the future of their franchise they can recreate the KG era.

anytime you have a chance to lockup DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin as your defensive front court for multiple years and tens of millions of dollars, you have to do it.

lol Rubio barely wants to be there as it is. No Kevin Love and he has even less reason to re-sign.

Guys like Love don't come around often. Hes one of a kind. They need to build around him and fast.

KG had like the worst supporting cast of all time for a super great player.

Nope, D-Rob.
