Really? I don't see Spo being fired unless Riley is the coach. Lakers IMHO would need to be blown out for Mike Brown to get canned IMHO, though he's on the precipice.

I know you listen to everything Dan Lebatard has said but coaching does have some importance, there are certain guys where you can see their influence come out. I still rather have players though of course.

I've revised the roster that Lebron needs to win.
1. Batman. Great strategist. He would run the team to perfection.
2. Flash. No one would be able to stay in front of him and he could play forever.
3. Lebron. wouldn't have to do much, just score.
4. Hulk. Enforcer. Would fuck shit up.
5. Superman. With him and Hulk no one would get position on the block.

I really do agree with Dan on this- I'm not saying coaching doesn't have an impact, but there is a "mythos" built around certain coaches, which I don't buy. Put Riley as coach here, nothing would change. People say say Wade doesn't "respect" Spo because he got in his face? Repeatedly, Zo would get in Riley's face and put a finger up to him, to the point that players were fearful he would physically strike him. Its overblown man.
Mike brown got himself fired for being one of the two worst coaches on the league, lakers age deserves better.
Do you watch the games? Pau and Bynum get the ball and just pass...this has been particularly Pau's problem all year. He doesn't get the ball and look to attack unless he's within a few feet. The turnover play was a perfect example of this. You're too obsessed with Kobe's shot attempts and your faux narrative of Kobe freezing out the bigs to see the bigs touch the ball on most the plays and don't do anything with it.
