Those Skyrim pics look quite amazing, what's the performance hit with that mod?

I guess you're referring to mine? I believe I took those with K ENB, which is pretty heavy. That thing chews up most single card setups. I have 2 680s though so it's not too bad.

Here's a pair of posts for War Thunder. I'll try not to double up too many times... :)

Hey, you should probably enable anti aliasing if you want to share shots.

Also, I noticed those images are lossy JPEGs. You should upload as PNG files to Minus so that everyone can see the full quality of your shots, since that's what this threads all about!

Hope to see some quality stuff from you in the future duder!

I have never even heard of War Thunder until today, but it looks Godlike.
It's a pretty fun game. Not a hardcore flight sim by any stretch, but that's the only reason I was able to get into it. I play it every night with a friend of mine for a little bit. It can be a bit grindy, but it's fun so leveling up isn't all that important to me.

It looks darn good for a free game. It also seems like it was made for 2.35:1 screens (though technically mine are 21:9).

Because of the lens flares? :)
Yes mostly the lens flares and the effects coming on screen like dust, water frops etc. it looked like those in battlefield 3!

How are you removing the HUD? Is there a new camera mod?

I am using a camera mod called Realistic Plugin which is ver.3 i believe. With that you also can remove the hud.

lol new shining R35...didn't last long.... :)

Sorry about all the HL2 pictures... I do it every month, so I guess some of you are probably tired of seeing it... I never get tired of it.

My turn to try Dolphin. Great results so far.

Any way to force even more than Native res 4x ?

You could set the fullscreen resolution to something higher than that, and then set the rendering internal resolution to window size.

From TocaEdit right? Because there was an update to NFS:MW that broke the HUD toggle in the latest version of the mod.

There's a branch in the works which supports arbitrary resolutions called custom-efb-scale.
It should be merged to the master branch once its done.

In the meantime however, you can use an unofficial build by Starscream which supports 5x Internal Resolution.

Just a reminder to all since I just saw antitrop use SSAA in Dolphin. It's broken.

Great screenshots everyone. I love the diversity.

Not surprising at all. Completely makes sense now, after seeing all the jaggies in Xenoblade. I thought something had to be wrong, but I wasn't completely sure.

What's the best way to AA in Dolphin, then? Going over 3x Native to force downsampling isn't an option, since if I can't maintain exactly a locked 30fps, Xenoblade's audio goes FUCKING NUTS. Even 29fps for 1 second causes noticeable audio distortion.

Couple Skyrim screens and a question!

Has there ever been a discussion on GAF about the best method for downsampling screenshots? I've been using FastStone Image Viewer for a while (it's free), and resampling my 3840x2160 images with a lanczos2 filter. I see a lot of people also just use Photoshop bicubic sharper.

I hope next-gen TES looks like that.

maybe i missed it, but what the process behind making these?

I take anywhere from 6-12 screenshots of a given area. It's important to keep the mouse on the same horizontal plane. I'll then go into photoshop. File -> automate -> photomerge. Select all the screenshots I want. Then choose cylindrical (usually works best). Photoshop generates a panorama. I crop it to the area I wanted and there you go :)
