fixedLike others have said, it's downsampling. We're definitely not running around with 4K monitors. Those things are stilltens ofthousand of dollars.

Those Skyrim pics look quite amazing, what's the performance hit with that mod?
It's a pretty fun game. Not a hardcore flight sim by any stretch, but that's the only reason I was able to get into it. I play it every night with a friend of mine for a little bit. It can be a bit grindy, but it's fun so leveling up isn't all that important to me.I have never even heard of War Thunder until today, but it looks Godlike.
Yes mostly the lens flares and the effects coming on screen like dust, water frops etc. it looked like those in battlefield 3!Because of the lens flares?![]()
How are you removing the HUD? Is there a new camera mod?
My turn to try Dolphin. Great results so far.
Any way to force even more than Native res 4x ?

I am using a camera mod called Realistic Plugin which is ver.3 i believe. With that you also can remove the hud.
Awesome shots neoenigma. Been a fan of your shots on flickr for a while.
AgreedReally excellent screens from everyone over the last few pages!
There's a branch in the works which supports arbitrary resolutions called custom-efb-scale.My turn to try Dolphin. Great results so far.

Wow .. some of your best work yet Jim.
You continue to amaze.
There's a branch in the works which supports arbitrary resolutions called custom-efb-scale.
It should be merged to the master branch once its done.
In the meantime however, you can use an unofficial build by Starscream which supports 5x Internal Resolution.
Just a reminder to all since I just saw antitrop use SSAA in Dolphin. It's broken.
Great screenshots everyone. I love the diversity.

Has there ever been a discussion on GAF about the best method for downsampling screenshots? I've been using FastStone Image Viewer for a while (it's free), and resampling my 3840x2160 images with a lanczos2 filter. I see a lot of people also just use Photoshop bicubic sharper.
maybe i missed it, but what the process behind making these?
