DRose show comes back tomorrow, woohoo!
I moved to NYC, so I bought League Pass Broadband. Anyone know if it comes with preseason games, or am I going to have to watch D-Rose's preseason #thereturn sitting in the firstrow?
|OT| Nelo Was Right: Lakers Double TeamedStill could use some more OT title ideas.
Rose said he thinks Michael Jordan plays one game for Charlotte this season.
But then he'd be exposed when the world sees what happens when you remove him from his old Eastern Conference All-Star team/Hall of Fame line-up.
Stay retired with your overrated legacy, "champ".

He schooled college OJ Mayo and more recently MKG among others. He'd be alright in a half court grind out type game at his age. The Dream could probably do damage at his age as well if his training vids are anything to go off of.

Check the $tat$Just saw this video, I guess he could do a little damage in today's NBA. Just annoyed his name floods the media and boosts his already overinflated ego every time he makes some dumb ass little comment, and we're like 20 years past his prime.

@tribjazz moving on.
Has Jordan ever faced an ECF matchup as tough as Paul George and Roy Hibbert?

The two time champion Pistons?Yeah, they were called the Pistons, and they clowned him again and again until they resorted to bringing in Phil Jackson. I like how people always bring up his 6/6 Finals record, but what was his overall PLAYOFF record, at age 28 like Lebron?

Comparing accomplishments by age is silly. Bron was playing at 18. That's some ESPN level spin.
That's exactly my point, people want to count him taking the garbage Cavs to the Finals and not being able to finish off a seasoned team like the Spurs AGAINST him, instead of praising him as probably the only player in history who could singlehandedly carry such a talentless team as far as he did.
I guarantee you if MJ the diva would've had the misfortune of being drafted by such a bad team, he'd be a first round exit every year, and would whine and beg for a trade. Of course it never worked out that way, the Hall of Fame came to him, and now we have "the best player ever".

He came to Utah for our terrible interior defense so I guess it makes sense for him to move on now and for him to move on to the Lakers.
In 10 season MJ 3 chips back to back to back. No finals losses. And 1 year away from the game.
In 10 seasons LBJ 2 chips back to back. 2 Finals losses. 1 more year than MJ in the league.
The Bulls were a good franchise before Jordan arrived?
So in other words, in the same amount of seasons, Lebron took his team to one more Finals trip. Lebron 4 appearances, MJ 3 appearances. Got it. Oh, and he didn't need to already be on his "superteam" to do it, he did it with the lowly Cavs too? Got it.
Phil jackson was a nobody....TeX winter would have been a better argumentYeah, they were called the Pistons, and they clowned him again and again until they resorted to bringing in Phil Jackson. The Bulls were a good franchise oncearrived.Pippen
But I thought Pippen was a nobody, and MJ did it all alone? Oh right, Pippen led the Bulls deep in the playoffs himself when MJ decided to go play baseball. He made the All-Star team every year MJ did. Bulls also had some other All Stars like BJ and Horace Grant, and Phil Jackson coaching, then tossed in Rodman the best rebounder of alltime for good measure, not to mention snipers from the outside like Paxson and Kukoc.
Yeah, MJ did it alone, alright. Imagine Lebron being blessed with that type of talent. Oh wait, he finally is, and he snaps off back to back rings and Finals MVPs.
3 were with Miami...
LBJ isn't even clearly better than Bird yet. He can't say MJ's name yet.
How many of MJ's appearances were without the superteam? Surely the greatest player ever should be able to at least take a lesser team to the Finals like Lebron did right? Hmm, guess not.
As for your second point, I dont know that MJ himself is even clearly better than Bird, but thats another conversation for another day. MJ is in my top 10 NBA talents of all-time for sure, thats about it.

...wait You think Bird > LBJ > MJ?
I think top 5 all-time order can be debated forever, and MJ might barely be in the discussion, but for him to be seen as undisputed #1, not taking into account the competition he faced and his favorable surroundings, is some grade A bullshit.
Bird faced some real beasts in his time, who did MJ face? Malone? Barkley? Hahaha
Yea...90s NBA was real light in the ass.
It was.
This shit is getting tired. If MJ had to face great players like Boris Diaw in the Finals he'd be 0-6.
