How can someone be very consistent and hit cold spots? That's, by definition, being inconsistent.

Not really. Depends on how long in duration the cold spots are. Happens even with the most consistent shooters. They all have their spots where it's just not falling in for them. Over a duration of games or a season, the numbers prove to be consistent though.

That player ESPN (and plenty on here) said was better than Aldridge, played 20 mins, scored 0 pts, and was sat in favor of Kenyon Martin in a playoff game.
 
I just wanted to say that I hate Jason Terry.
There's a reason Dallas didn't bother even trying to re-sign him. He's a great 3P shooter that is a defensive liability and usually underperformed in the playoffs. 2006 and 2011 were his only really impressive playoff performances.
 
Good win for Knicks. After watching the game though, these two teams literally have no chance vs Miami, should one of them make it to the conference finals.
