Taj Gibson: American Hero
Lmao me too. Funny as well since there were still guys under him when he dropped from the rimI thought they gonna call cheap T on Taj lol
Oh lolWas talking about that last play. Attacked the rim with a crowd around.
lol thought the same thing.I thought they gonna call cheap T on Taj lol
Not saying their play tonight is uncharacteristic for them or any big revelation. I simply don't see their games often during the season so I appreciate the effort they've put in here in the postseason on defense and with hustle plays. So, at the risk of beating a dead horse- I'm going to ask what you mean by effort? The fact that they are playing the same way they've played all year in the face of injuries? What is the alternative, lay down and lost to the Heat no fucks given?
I'm not trying to take anything away from the Bulls, its actually the opposite- I think that they have a great defense and their bigs are a decent matchup for us- so it's not some extra "effort" or "grit" that's keeping them in this.
It just seems to me that people are shocked that the game is close, and in an effort to explain that which they do not understand, they point to intangibles such as grit/effort.

Plus, with the way some teams in the playoffs play, this is a nice change of pace.
Not really shocked necessarily, though. Didn't Chicago halt Miami's long winning streak towards the end of the season?
watNah never. You're the only one I cheer for Nori chan.
Yeah, Thibs is great.Yeah, a healthier Bulls team ended the streak. I actually don't take issue with anything you wrote, Bulls are definitely a well-coached, high energy team.
