If you pay attention to the OP under "Renewals" you might be able to figure it out. It's super subtle though. Can I get explanation what is his "big shot" position in Hollywood?
What in god's name did they do to Jonathan Tucker?
There's an alternate Dimmension where Hieroglyph ignites a pop culture zeitgeist. The new guys canceled it five minutes ago.

YOU GODDAMN BASTARDS
Stalker (CBS, debuts October 1 at 10 p.m.)
If you like stalkers, youll love CBS new thriller procedural. Stalker brings Kevin Williamson (writer of Scream, creator of The Following) to tell the story of two detectives assigned to the arm of the LAPD that focuses on stalking cases. Maggie Q and Dylan McDermott play partnered detectives Beth and Jack, both of whom have stalking histories of their own. Fans of Williamson will notice the same terrifying violence, masked murderers, and creepy phone calls that have defined much of his work.
What its selling: Williamson told the audience at the Television Critics Association summer press tour that his goal was both to bring awareness to stalking issues, especially cyberstalking, as well as to entertain the viewer. The first scene is a woman being lit on fire and burned alive in her car.
Creator of The Following?
Fox has actually started a Pre-Cancellation Department so they can cancel shows before they air. Those crafty bastards.I've heard it's already canceled.
It got a 2.0 on Sunday so well see of it does as well during its regular premiere.Am I the only one thinking that Utopia will be the first casualty?

Minority Report... Precog... Pre Cancel...
OH MY GOD
Oh, hey. My Matt Bomer fandom made the OP.
Speaking of which: Graceland over/under on cancellation?
Late to this joke but A+.Fox has actually started a Pre-Cancellation Department so they can cancel shows before they air. Those crafty bastards.
Why do I bother watching anything on Fox? I'm very skeptical of NBC shows but with Fox, I think it's a waste of time to get interested in them anymore unless 24 keeps coming back. When The Following somehow becomes a hit, the world is doomed in my eyes.
It's a medical procedural, but set at the country's most notorious Pokemon Center. Sela Ward stars as Nurse Joy in JOY.

Nothing firm yet, but I can't imagine it's expensive to make, FXX needs content, and there's been a minor upswing in critical support recently. Between the three of those, I would guess it's coming back.Any news or hints about the fate of You're The Worst? The last episode was great.
I have to imagine that this show could only work with Tatiana Maslany levels of diversity with all the different Nurse Joys that would no doubt turn up as the series goes on.
Don't worry, Yahoo will save Firefly.
Oh, wait, Yahoo isn't saving everything?
Okay, Tumblr will save Firefly.
Wait, Yahoo bought Tumblr?
Radio Shack will save Firefly. I'm sure of it.
But wait, doesn't FOX do stuff with [INSERT RANDOM RELATED SERVICE HERE?]Don't worry, Yahoo will save Firefly.

Deadline said:A wise man once told me that the best way to go out is on top. If the numbers for the premiere of the seventh and final season of Sons Of Anarchy are anything to go by, that could well be the case for the FX series. The Kurt Sutter-created biker drama drew 6.2 million viewers at 10 PM last night with 4.1 million among adults 18-49, according to Nielsen. Coming in as the most watched episode and the best demo result in the shows history a nice margin, the epic 1-hour and 47 minute beginning of SOAs last ride was up 5% in total viewership from the 90-minute Season 6 premiere on September 10, 2013. Previously the best SOA had ever done, that debut last year had 5.87 million viewers with 3.94 million in the key demo.
First note: Please please please let me know if anything here is wrong. Especially with cable.
On another note, I think this is my last year doing the cancellation thread. Not for love of you all, but it seems wise to slowly begin my retirement from TV-GAF. I'll probably still try to lurk as I ween myself off these threads, but that's the long-term plan.
Utopia appears to be crashing and burning very quickly. Does FOX even have anything on the back burner to fill the hours if they cancel it?
Re-air Firefly?
If only.....FOX should put out some sort of Egyptian show to replace Utopia.
What the heck is Utopia anyway?
Behold "Utopia", a bold new series based on the hit Dutch program. Watch what happens as 15 pioneering Americans wave goodbye to the lives theyve known, move to a remote location, and set out to create a society from scratch. Theyve got limited supplies, wildly diverse backgrounds, and zero bathrooms.
What could go wrong -- besides everything?
The Utopians will make every decision about how they live and work. Will they choose democracy or dictatorship? Capitalism or socialism? Fidelity or free love? Which religion, if any, will prevail? Will they punish or forgive? Keep or share?
Are those chickens friends .or food? If not now, when?
It is all up to them.
This is not a game. There is no prize. This is "Utopia": reality TV in its truest form.
I thought it was a remake of the BBC show that just finished airing until I saw a promo for it.
SOA's continued growth is still surprising/confusing me.The show has been on the decline for a while, so it's crazy to see Sons of Anarchy putting up increasing numbers year after year.
