Asiata vs Pats

Or

Chris Johnson @ Green Bay

Both players are in a split back situation. Both D's did horrible against the run last week.

Asiata is projected at 14 vs Johnson's 8. Still, I feel Johnson had more breakout potential.

What do?
I should actually be pro-Johnson here because I'm starting him in the league I care about the most and the experts will back that up as well... BUT I'm logically thinking Asiata is the better play.

I think he'll get a greater percentage of his backfield touches (vs. McKinnon) than CJ?K will get over Ivory. I think that game will be closer than Jets-Packers will be. I think the Pats sell out to stop Patterson and leave the center of the field exposed to get short gains whereas I think the Packers sell out to stop the run and force Geno Smith to beat them with throws to Decker, Kerley and Amaro. I also think the Vikes have the better offensive line.

I think I may still lean CJ if it's PPR but Asiata may be the better play in Standard formats. It's a tough call.

Yeah I'm torn.

PPR league, 20 yds=point

Pick one: andre Ellington, Wallace, or Kendall Wright.

Right now got Mike Wallace in and the eleven targets he got last week. Thinking will stick with him but interested in random opinions

Having a hard time making a decision on my wrs+flex. PPR league.

1: Antonio Brown(lock obviously)
2: Crabtree (on the fence about him)

F: Andrew Hawkins vs NO
T.Y. Hilton vs Philly
Brandon Cooks vs Cleveland

I also have Andre Ellington on the bench.

I love Hawkins a ton in a PPR league with Cameron inactive versus a Saints defense that got torched by the Falcons receivers last week.
Expecting he'll be able to rack up a lot of catches during garbage time once the game gets out of hand.

In a Standard format, I would lean Cooks. Be mindful that the Saints have Stills going this week so Brees won't necessarily have to give Cooks action with another mouth to feed.

COOOOOOOOOOOOOKS I'm starting him over Wright, Spiller, J. Bell and Twilliams. Kids the sproles replacement. will get a lot of passes.

With Palmer out they are going to feed the ball to Ellington a ton…tough call though with it being ppr and 20 yards a point (that's a new one and pretty strange).

crap i just realized for the first question it's a w/t flex and a w/r/t flex. so what combo of the first 4 would you play knowing that.
In a W/T situation, I'd prioritize your options as follows...

1) Walker
2) Bowe
3) Kelce
4) Nicks

Yeah, nobody likes Nicks any more. You may want to see if Santonio Holmes is available in your league. If he is, I'd rank him ahead of Bowe this week. Because KC is KC.
And prioritize West over Bell before that group for the one flex spot.

Should I stick with this lineup this weekend (I know Greg Hardy isn't playing today now)

I'm in RB Hell.. AP, and Ben Tate - plus Doug Martin doesn't seem to be panning out

I'm seriously considering starting both West and Crowell instead of Martin at all. :(

The only thing that worries me about Jennings is that they're playing Arizona today and their rushing defense is quite good
Houston's pass defense is also quite good. Some weeks you can't dodge a good D.

If you don't have Rainey in reserve, that may well be the best play for you.

Which of these receivers would you start? I need 3 and right now I'm benching Wright even though he has a great match up:

DeSean Jackson
Julian Edelman
Michael Crabtree
Kendall Wright

Because your league is over-valuing PPR, you gotta go with Wallace. If Wallace catches 5 passes, that's equivalent to 100 yards rushing for Ellington. I could end up with egg on my face, but with Carson Palmer out this week for ARI, I think it'll be rough for Ellington. I was down on Wallace until seeing how many targets he got last week, which will only continue this season.

Kendall Wright is fine too, but he's a shadow of Wallace.

Does anyone know if Alshon is going to start tonight? Reports are saying he's 75% likely to miss the game. The latest I can pull him out is at 4:25 est if his status doesn't improve.

Mine:

RB2:
Ryan Matthews (against Seattle) or Lamar Miller (against Buffalo). I'm leaning towards Miller, but Matthews is looking to get more carries, but it's a tough matchup against Seattle.

Sounds like Jeffrey is out. Rotoworld said "75% chance he'd miss the game," but then Yahoo demoted him to a 0.00 for projections this morning which sounds like he's almost definitely out. Sadly, 4:30 game... and so you won't get a lot of pregame coverage like the 1PM games. I've got him in a league too, but luckily have Brandon Cooks or Maclin to put in ihs place.

WHich I guess is another question: Brandon Cooks or Jeremy Maclin, WR2.

Should I dress locker or Wilson at qb?

I'm thinking of locker because of Dallas defence sucks. I don't know how good is San Diego defence?

I wouldn't count on Jeffery. You can always grab Holmes as a reserve option if you want to wait it out, though. Either Bears receiver will be money if they can go.

Another reserve option would be Jordan Matthews as he's playing on Monday night.

Yea I just picked up Nicks because all my other recievers play at 1.

I have the choice between Drew Stanton (QB) vs. NYG, or Brian Hoyer (QB) vs. NO...also a toss-up is Terrance Williams (WR) vs. TEN. This is my QB Flex in my 12-team PPR league. I'm leaning towards Hoyer (since he's rostered and I'd have to drop someone for Stanton). There's rumors of Johnny Football making it into the game today, though, which worries me.

Wow, FanDuel down a half hour before the games kickoff. Major blunder for them right now. Desperate to get in and make a modification given that I have Carson Palmer and Adrian Peterson on this team...

Dunno if I should start Keenan Allen vs Seattle

I've got:
Hakeem Nicks vs Phi
Justin Hunter vs Dal
Allen Hurns vs Was

I'd pass on Keenan Allen vs. Seattle this week, mostly because Allen got held down pretty hard last week going up against Arizona and Patrick Peterson, side from a handful of catches, and we saw what Seattle did last week to Boynkin last week. Allen and Boynkin are pretty similar receivers.

But... if those are your choices to sub, I'd have to go with Nicks vs. Philly. I need to see more for Hurns before starting him any week. Sure, he was a FF darling last week but on just 4 receptions. Hunter I haven't seen enough of to say either way.

Should I start Jimmy Graham or Martellus Bennett?
You don't ever bench Jimmy Graham. Ever. Not even on his bye weeks. (OK, maybe then.)

Decided to roll the dice in the one PPR league I own both Marshall & Jeffery in and handcuff them with Holmes. Had to dump Gordon to do it and I'm not happy about it but half of my starting lineup is injured. Figures that would happen in the one league I was able to snipe Gordon in.

Help me GAF

Asiata vs Patriots
or
Pierre Thomas vs Browns

and at WR who do i bench

Keenan Allen vs Seahawks
Desean Jackson vs Jaguars
Mike Wallace vs Bills

Last second change of mind: Brian Quick in for Victor Cruz?!?
That's probably getting a little too cute. Don't declare the G-Men an offensive wasteland until after they lose at home to Drew Stanton. After that you can toss the entire team in a dumpster fire.

You know, last year, week after week I kept telling myself that and then there goes Cruz consistently did bad. I might make that move, Arizona's secondary is good, no?
It's good. Which is why you're not starting Eli. I have to think Cruz isn't getting triple-covered all day. His talent should win out. It's not like the Rams have a competent quarterback right now.
