10 people league, so yeah a bit smaller. It was also fortuitous drafting position and a bit of happenstance. Like, I drafted Emmanuel Sanders and Philip Rivers way later, so I traded the both of them for Dez Bryant. And TY Hilton I picked up off waivers because someone was REALLY impatient. And Alshon Jeffrey was a keeper from last year I drafted way late.Y'all must have a small league for one player to have all of those stars.
Any thoughts for my flex this weekend? Looking at:
Rashad Jennings - word is still not 100% and Andre Williams may share the workload to some degree. Also, going against Redskins run D. On the positive, I'm in a PPR league and he should get some catches.
Jonathan Stewart - Big game last week. Deangelo Williams looks like he'll be out, so carry volume looks good. Negative is that Cam is also out, which will probably hurt the run game vs. Tampa Bay.
Latavius Murray - Word is he'll get all the carries and is playing against a Chiefs team that gives up lots of run yardage. Negatives: KC doesn't seem to give up rush TDs, and Murray plays on Oakland, so who knows how often they'll see the endzone.
I made the worst choice out of 3 flex players last week, but I still won. Don't want to make the same mistakes this week. :|
Dear fantasy football gods, please let Julio Jones play this weekend.
If not, my replacement receivers to choose from are Brandon LaFell, Eric Decker, Wes Welker or Pierre Garçon? PPR league.
I have a friend who does fan duel from time to time and seen how it works. It's pretty interesting.
Draft kings I've only seen the commercials. How does that work?
I'm not exactly the gambling type either. Any chance I could bet almost nothing but still win something (as stupid as that sounds)? XD
I guess I feel like just trying it and see how it goes. I'm not exactly a big spender but I can afford to lose like $10 or $20 to start out on.
I do fanduel. Usually a couple on Sunday and then a bunch of basketball ones throughout the week. I tried out a few different methods, but I feel like the 3, 5, or even 10 man leagues are the best way to make money.
You can do $1 50/50 leagues. You just have to place in the top half to make money. You'll get $1.80 if you win.
Ah ok. So here's a couple of questions I have
What does 50/50 leagues mean? My guess is 50 player leagues or something?
I was looking at these sign up promotions. What does "100% sign up bonus to $200" mean?
How quick are the payouts if I won some money and I wanted to cash out? Is PayPal the only service to use?
50/50 is just the percentage of ppl in the money. The top 50% ppl of a 100 person league will make money. The bottom 50 get nothing. There are 20, 40, 60, 80 person 50/50 leagues as well.
They double the initial deposit u make. However, you dont get it all right away. Each time you play in a league or tournament, fanduel will deposit some of the balance into your account. Eventually you'll get it all, it just might take a while.
PayPal and they can send you a check. I'm not sure how long it takes since I haven't cashed out yet.
Oh ok. So I guess as long as I don't suck too bad I can win a few bucks from time to time XD. (Then again, it's probably easier said then done)
Ah so that's the catch. Eventually is not a long time right?
So what are these head to head match ups that I've seen on fan duel? I've seen my friend do some of those sometimes but I don't know how different it is exactly compared to doing league play. Is it literally just against one other player and you either win or lose? Is it risker?
Btw thank you so much for answering these for me. It's very helpful.![]()
No problem, I'm happy to help
If i'm reading the transaction history on my account right, I get $0.04 back for each $1 game and $.20 back for every $5 game.
Head to Heads are pretty cool. It's basically just you vs one other person. You each pick a lineup, but it doesnt reveal who your opponent has picked until gametime.
FanDuel takes a 10% cut of the winnings. So say it's a $5 head-to-head, the winner gets $9, fanduel gets $1, and the loser gets nothing.
Oh damn 10%? That sounds a little steep. I mean in the unlikely event that I win say $1K, they take $100 from it right? Is that normal?
In your experience, do you like doing league plays better or head to heads?

I guess it would be normal. I've never done anything other than fanduel so I'm not too sure.
I started out doing the big leagues with like 20,000 people. They were ok, but I never got a big payout. Maybe $1-$3 from time to time on $1 buy-ins. There's just so many ppl in them that it's hard to place high up. Especially when you can miss the money just from being short a couple fantasy points, or even short like 0.05 points.
I either recommend either head-to-head, 3, or 5 person leagues. Better chance for you to make more money. You just have to be smarter(or luckier) than a few people, as opposed to 15,000 people.
A couple friends have got lucky in bigger tournaments and won like $80 when they put down $5 or $10. I just feel like smaller league are better and have less risk.
I've been doing Fanduel since last season and I love it. You can definitely win a lot from betting a little. That's probably your best bet honestly. Last year I won 3K from a $2 bet (two week game) and this year I won $140 from a $5 bet. With that said, it's EXTREMELY hard and it's half luck half research.
I personally don't like head2head games. I feel like if I'm putting in the work I may as well try and win big. I see a lot of regret coming from that method of play.
I think Julio might be a defacto decoy even if he does play this weekend. You might be better off starting someone else even if the fantasy football gods grant your wish. Any chance Harry Douglas is available?Dear fantasy football gods, please let Julio Jones play this weekend.

Which two should I play out of these four?
Latavius Murray
Brandon Lafell
Jonas Gray
Fred Jackson
I'd go FJax.
Hey, I desperately need a FLEX option for my playoff match. Should I go Asiata, Gore, Allen Hurns, Jarvis Landry, or pick someone up? Is someone in Jacksonville gonna get scoring opportunities with Denard Robinson on the IR?

Eli or Russell Wilson? Leaning Wilson since he's more reliable, but Eli is going against a weak Washington.
I heard Landry is going to be on revis island. Out of all those options, I'd go with hurns
Need a Flex and Julio Jones replacement, pick 2:
Harry Douglas
Lamar Miller
Desean Jackson
Jarvis Landry
Donte Moncrief
Golden Tate
I would go Moncrief with Reggie Wayne out and a great matchup against the Texans, and Harry Douglas w/ both Julio out and Roddy White still injured.
Thanks.
Now that Julio is officially out, I'm definitely playing Douglas. Where did you see Wayne is inactive? Everything I'm looking at has him suiting up and playing.
Ugh..semi-finals and have to pick between Sanchez and Manziel...I know all the experts are saying Sanchez...am I crazy to consider Manziel?
What are people's thoughts on starting Brady or Wilson? I've been riding Wilson and his extra rushing yards for a bit now, but matchups and rankings Ive been looking at have me leaning towards Brady for today.
He's playing, but hes palying w/ Torn Triceps, and after dropping 3 passes last week with only 8 targets, i cant see him being a big weapon this week
I think if you go with Manziel you are really hoping for some rushing yards and maybe a score. Reports coming from the stadium seem to indicate that they are going to try and limit his throws. Of course, that could just be a giant smokescreen, but who knows.
Maybe gonna use him as a decoy or something. I think if I had a lot of good options I'd sit him.
Not in PPR, Joquie Bell vs Vikings or Alfred Morris vs Giants? How about Kyle Rudolph vs Lions or Mychel Rivera vs Chiefs?
Should I swap out Demaryious Thomas playing on that bad ankle for Kelvin Benjamin vs TB? That 1 point last week thankfully didn't hurt.
What so-called "experts" said that?I hate when I listen to the "experts"... Sit Mike Wallace they say.... fuck off!
