Flex: Boldin @ Dallas or Edelman @ Miami?
Edelman

PPR: Gerhart or Pierre Thomas?
Thomas

Ugh, I had a hunch I should've started Russell Wilson over Cam earlier this week, now I'm screwed.

Hey, should I play James Jones over MJD at FLEX? I was pretty set on MJD but they're projections are similar.
James Jones

Keenan Allen or Crab?

Keenan will have Peterson on him probably all game, Crab will have no one on him because it is Dallas.
Crabtree

Cool thread

Marques Colston or Kelvin Benjamin?
Colston

I have the Cards D but I'm thinking of benching them today and dropping one of my other fillers for the Texans, Jets or Lions D.

Leaning mostly toward the Texans.
I'd go with the Texans also

I'd sit Garcon (at least this week) and go Fitz, Green and Sanders.

Is this PPR? That's a damn good team

Good idea. Stuck too close to draft order on that one. Went to switch out and Garcon was locked in for his game already. Oh wells. Lesson learned.

No, not PPR, standard Yahoo 10 team auction draft. My RBs suffered for it.

My RBs suck. I have a choice between Carlos Hyde, which would be great if Gore wasn't around, and Jonathan Dwyer, now that Ellington is basically ruled out. Great backup vs mediocre at best starter.

So I'm watching this Falcons game and the RB not named Steven Jackson is getting a lot of touches. Looks like Jackson is the No. 2 option?

Atlanta will be doing a RB committee for pretty much the whole season. They're spreading touches between Steven Jackson, Jacquizz Rodgers, Antone Smith, and Devonta Freeman.

I wouldn't trust Jackson over the course of the season.

My WR position is thin and I need help off the waiver wire. Who do you guys recommend from my available options? I'm kinda leaning towards Floyd right now even though Quick had more targets.

Pick two for a flex: MJD, Frank Gore, James Jones, Forsett(guy from the Ravens, forgot his first name).

Another league pick one, maybe two, Yahoo's roster is annoying in this league: Greg Jennings, Frank Gore, Tavon Austin?

I'm conflicted with Gore, dude Hyde got a bunch of carries last week, and Chicago's run defense is tough I believe. Had a good week one, would appreciate some help.

100% Gore there in both

Assuming standard scoring and relative equal abilities, go with the starting running back. They're guaranteed to get touches. WRs aren't and are a crap shoot for tds. Go with MJD.

Ok, now on the other hand, I've been tempted to put Jennings in for Mike Wallace at a WR2 spot. It really depends, if Revis is guarding Patterson, that'll give Jennings some more opportunies, but maybe Revis is guarding Jennings, I dunno. On a related note, I have Keenan Allen and Victor Cruz in my other league, and James Jones on the bench. Allen's facing the Seahawks, and Cruz has been unreliable and shaky. I almost always play it safe, so I was thinking I maybe play Jones somewhere there this week.

Need a streamer Defense for this week:
Bills (hosting Dolphins)
Green Bay (hosting Jets)
Saints (at Cleavland)
Ravens (hosting Steelers)

How is Jennings still avalible in your league?!?!?

I have RG3 and Cam Newton as quarterbacks, and I'm flip-flopping on who to start. I'll probably end up taking the risk and seeing how Newton does against the Lions. Thoughts?

I'd go Cam. Even though RG3's got the Jags, he's looked shaky as hell and I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to implement the running game some more.

Week 2 Flex:

Marques Colston vs Cleveland

or

Vincent Jackson vs St Louis

First off, I'm glad to see this thread is alive.

Second, this is a tough call...Colston is a solid play every week, but Jackson is the better talent against a seemingly severely overrated defense (I can't trust any def that lets the Vikings score 30 plus points).

So sort of a toss up, but I'd give it to Jackson...You didn't draft him high to have him ride the bench based soley on matchups when his matchup is good for him.

Flex=Play Gore and Forsett.

I still think Gore is a decent pick right now...Now week 10 is a different story, but Gore is the starter...Hyde looked awesome, but if Gore plays well against a bad Chi def, he'll continue to be the starter...I think he'll get at least 15 carries..If he plays poorly, it just means Hyde will be the man sooner rather than later, but this isn't a concern this week.

When compared to RG3..Go with Cam if he's playing.

RG3 has looked really bad for some time...So bad he seems like he may get benched in a few weeks if this keeps up..

So Cam without a doubt.

Is Tampa Bay available in your league? They'd be a great defense for a weekly matchup.

Thanks. Most likely going to start Cam after looking it over.

I just don't have much faith in RG3 anymore, honestly. He hasn't been his old self since his first year. I'd shy away from him, if possible.

I'm pissed that a trade just went through in my dynasty league. I offered this guy a ton for Graham all preseason and he said no to me, but this is what he takes.

Jimmy Graham

for

Monte Ball

This is the trade he took...I offered him numerous previous trades...Ryan Mathews, Shane Vereen, and Vincent Jackson for Graham...NOPE...Said he wants RBs...Offered Julius Thomas and Ryan Mathews...NOPE...

But just a straight up guy who's gonna suck once Manning retires for Graham is good enough..lol...Ball didn't even look good against the Colts...Looked slow..CJ looked more explosive.

Montee Ball can be a top-5 running back in that offense, better than any single player you offered (and in dynasty too, Ball is super-valuable.)

Got 15 pts from Ball in my league. That's a smart trade for Graham since Ball will peak this year under Manning.

You were trying to trade multiple quarters for a dollar, he took the trade of a (potential) dollar for a dollar

C'mon. VJ is at least 50 cents..lol..

But I get it...Star for star...But his overall team really sucked...As keepers he kept both Steven Jackson and Danny Amendola...Yeah, his team is that bad, so I figured getting some upgrades at multiple areas would appeal to him while losing the one big star..

Now he has a star in Graham, who I agree is better than Ball, and has better long term value than Ball, but in the end it's still just one star...

Okay, here's my QB dilemma this week:

Locker
Newton
Rivers*

Who do I start?

*i have seattle d, so I'm competing against myself with rivers

I'm seeing a number of people play Locker this week because it's against Dallas...so that's some obvious upside...Newton, I don't trust yet with all the new receivers and poor run game..And after last week I wouldn't want anything to do with any team playing Seattle...Sooooooooooooooooo....

Gotta go with Locker.

How does everyone think Forsett is going to do tonight? I have 2 slots I could stick him in and more fringe players like him I could start (Spiller, White, Patterson, CJ2K) - in my RB/FLEX position.

So home game, Pierce benched last week, bad Steelers run defense, in a NON PPR. The Ravens looked god awful last week though...Not sure what to do

Reasonable to expect 100 total yards and a TD?

I don't think it's reasonable to expect 100 and a td..I'd keep Forsett but not start him till we see what he capable of on a consistent basis.

If you can pick 2 from the list you mentioned above I'd pick"

-Patterson and White-assuming you mean Roddy (with Spiller and CJ being a toss up for 3rd)...Forsett comes in last.

I'd say touches are going to be split between Pierce and Forsett. Maybe 60-40 Pierce, given that the Ravens outright stated that he's going to be starter. I'd tone it down for maybe 50-65 yards and possibly a score for Forsett. That's just me though.

I'd personally stay far far away from Ravens RB situation until they figure out who's getting all of the carries.

My RB's are Lacy and Ellington. Is Forsett worth the risk to start if one of them aren't ready by Sunday? If I put either in flex I'd have to remove Garcon or Harvin.

Few questions for you GAF:

Assuming Jordan Cameron doesn't go, what TE would you consider to replace him? Some options are Delanie Walker, Jermaine Gresham, and the usual sorts you find in a 10 team league.

For a flex spot would you go with Maclin, Sproles, or Cooks?

Cooks against Cle is a good matchup... Take him.

Sproles shouldn't even be in the discussion as a valid flex, especially in a 10 team league.

Walker and Gresham are fine replacements...both unlikely to score big points, but of at least equal value to one another.

Speaking of which, since Cameron and Delanie both have a 1pm start, is it worth leaving Cameron in for now?

In case you guys didn't hear Adrian Peterson has been indicted for child neglect and there's a good chance he might not play this weekend. His backup would be Matt Asiata.
