It's been 10 days of football talk, I've noticed too that in between games conversations are starting to crop up about things other than the matches. To be expected, I suppose.
I've gone for Portugal-Draw-Belgium today.
If I were a betting man that's probably what I would go for as well.

But without Pepe you won't have much stopping power at the back. For all the shit he gets he's still one of the best in one-on-one situations, interceptions, and air-duels.
Can't even count how many times he's saved Madrid.

Belgium Russia game will be interesting, haven't seen Russia' first game so I have no clue how strong they are. Still pulling for a Belgium win, the team has a lot of potential.
Second game looks to be boring, hope they prove me wrong.
Probably will skip the midnight game, I'm sleep deprived enough as it is. Hard to see who will win, US looked really weak against Ghana and was hard to get a read on Portugal because they were one man down. Still tournament will be lot more fun for me if Portugal will manage to get trough, even if I dislike CR7 he can pull of some great stuff.

He got his break in Germany only with 21 (Kaiserslautern), which is probably partly a reason why he's still fit with 36. Started as a technically poor striker living only of his heading ability, but improved immensely over the years at Werder Bremen and Bayern. Started to regress as soon as he got into the Seria A.
