Sunday is gonna be something. The small part of me that has hope in Mexico wants to sort of root for them. But the bigger part of me that wants a Germany/Netherlands final wants to root for Neth.

Is there a point you guys are trying to make because I'm not seeing it. I just went with the favorites except maybe in that first game since Ghana is clearly not who they used to be. That game was a bit of a smash and grab too.

It's the only sport where you can advance after a loss in a tournament though. That's why it's confusing to many.

Okay, that's much worse than the Algeria sub kicking the ball out of play. At least the kick didn't result in a goal conceded against you.
That said it's not like the Russians deserved to win against Algeria, or make it past the group stage for that matter.
