Some of those steps are completely unnecessary. You don't need special naming. You don't need thumbnails. You only need to drag JPGs into the screenshot folder for the game and restart steam for them to eligible for upload.

No way you're downsampling. Every time I tried, it for some reason set all my textures to low

Killed the experience. I had to play at 1080.

My PC has been fucked for a while now but today, like a miracle, it suddenly starting cooling my CPU like it was supposed to.

Thanks guys. Is it easier to take screenshots with the Steam function, since it'll take lossless screens, and just convert those to lossless jpgs and upload them? Since it names the lossless version the same thing as the lossy jpg, I wouldn't have to worry about naming it something Steam-like.

EDIT: Oh, so the name doesn't matter. Cool. So it's really just a matter of converting the shots to a lossless jpg and then finding the screenshot folder.

If you are going to take screenshots with Steam, remember that it does NOT capture injectors like SweetFx.

I did a test comparing Steam screenshots to Fraps screenshots and the results were identical, except for the case where an injector was used. In that case, the injected visuals like SweetFx were not captured in the Steam shot. Keep that in mind when you're taking shots.

Thought i also re post this from the 2013 thread for the new ones in here .

This was a unexpected and disturbing .

What i assume happened is i uninstalled the character race mod i was trying out and loaded a save of that character .

Instead of getting an expected CTD i got the above . .

Yeah. It can be difficult to find a good angle in this game.

I also got one of that train during an evening setting. The DOF toggle looks decent here I think.
