Taylor's jump part was cute but was a lazy performance. Was there even a rehearsal? All she did was walk and sound like any girl singing to the radio. Our standards for pop stars these days.

Any idea about what time Beyonce will come on? Because that's the only other thing I have any slight interest in watching live.

Jesus. lol

I think there's a 20 minutes delay because the Jessie J/Ariana/Nicki performance was like a few moments ago

Dammit

Oh well, I'll still check this thread just to know what to expect and what to focus on, haha

So there's no stream of this right?

This doesn't seem to have a shot of the front stage.

they're so dumb

all these artists have fan throughout the world

a live stream of this would be a huge success

Maybe it's just me but does it seem like MTV is skewed towards appealing to young girls more than ever? I'm talking like 12 year olds.
Look at that lineup from the 1996 MTV Award

  • The Smashing Pumpkins "Tonight, Tonight"
  • The Fugees f/ Nas Medley
  • Metallica "Until It Sleeps"
  • LL Cool J "Doin It"
  • Neil Young "The Needle and the Damage Done"
  • Hootie & the Blowfish "Sad Caper"
  • Alanis Morissette "Your House"
  • Bush "Machinehead"
  • The Cranberries "Salvation"
  • Oasis "Champagne Supernova"
  • Bone Thugs-N-Harmony "Tha Crossroads"
  • Kiss "Rock and Roll All Nite"
What happened?

or 1992

I would go even younger. Like 8 year old's. That's who was making up the crowd on the Today Show for Iggy's performance a few weeks ago. It seems wrong.

Adults don't listen to music anymore. THat's the only thing I can think of.

16 yo girls dictate the movement of the industry.

THat's always been the case but something about this feels like they are skewing even younger. Even with the ass shaking and general pervy-ness I feel like this could be a Nick Awards show.
