It's tough to say. In football the Big East doesn't exist so its hard for me to call them a major athletic conference without a big football presence.

Had em' going to Elite Eight out of semi-obligation of attending there for University, but we haven't made the Sweet 16 in 50 years or something. Our chances of making it there lied with Nebraska beating Baylor...but man it hurts watching it be this bad. It was nicer when we were just a Cinderella team with no expectations so making the round of 32 was nice.
