Wasn't Florida's last loss to UConn...?

Yep, but not having a point guard for the last 3 min was a bit rough (Wilbekin injured and Hill sat out due to injury). Still UF led the game until Napier's buzzer beater shot :-\ At least this time UF has both Wilbekin and Hill and Hill has greatly improved and Wilbekin is Wilbekin.

Guaranteeing anything in the tourney just seems crazy to me.
No guarantees, of course. But the F4 usually is a return to normalcy. Florida is head and shoulders above the rest of the field. They will probably win, particularly now that they basically have a gimmee to get to the NC game.

At least there can't be an all Big 10 final for the NCAA championship. We are saved! ;-)
Edit: An all SEC final would be fun, but playing UK a 4th time... eh. I would not be so confident in UF beating them 4 times in a row (but how sweet that would be).

I agree Florida is the best team, I just don't think it will be automatic.

both teams played like ass, like I posted earlier this was going to be a game of team's going on runs.
Defense was good, this MSU team has just never had the same toughness the traditional MSU teams have.

Not fair to blame it all on the guards, but they just weren't good enough. UConn's backcourt >> Sparty's.

Yet one title, hence good, not elite.
That's a matter of talent and luck, not coaching.

Put your money on the Badgers. They haven't lost to a non big 10 team all year and are the only team to defeat every major conference champion.

Got to like our chances against you guys. It was a 3 point game with 10 seconds to go at Wisconsin, with Scottie, DFS, and CWalker out. Hill was also no where near ready then, and our walk-on was playing major minutes.

Harris is better than either of the Uconn guards tho. Too bad Appling and Valentine are straight garbo.

None of those are elite.. Roy Williams and Coach K are elite..
Donovan has just as many titles as Roy. Therefore he is just as elite. My maths are indisputable.

tbh I think Donovan is probably just as good as Roy even without resorting to oversimplification.

Without some threes it would have been a blowout.

Both defenses were very good. Both offenses were so-so, but lack of interior game from MSU was the difference. Front court was a problem all year - lack of depth, rebounding, guards having to foul more, etc. Today it reared its ugly head.
