Bloodborne has been out for 6 months now. If someone knows they are going to be late to the party with playing it, they would be wise enough to not be in a screenshot thread.
Yeah exactly. So much character and style to the visuals but they are being held back quite a bit.

Guys I don't think it's necessary to point out that your screenshots are PNGs, I mean, the update is out for everyone now.
Yeah but the screen function is not auto set to png so I appreciate when people mention it as I'm sure not everyone will be aware of the new format and we'll still get lots of jpeg's.

From the shots I've seen so far, BB is the game that has benefited the most from PNG. Looks so much more crisp.

What would you guys think about changing number of screenshots per posts to two now that everything is pretty much uncompressed?
It would cut the loading time by a third. I don't know. If you guys wouldn't be up for it, that's fine, too. For me, it just takes forever to load a page now.

Seesh I won't be coming here often even if I'm posting about a different game, I'm always 6 months late for most games.

What about two screens per posts and two consecutive posts allowed?
Could allow you to post more shots than nomal AND cut loading by a third.
I initially didn't want double posting because it may have less variety, but we gets tons of game repeats anyway, so...
The PC thread is worse with higher res and 6 pics at once and yet my internet handles it fine...so it does handle this thread as well. And it's only going to get tougher as the gen goes by(next gen will be even worse with above 1080p pics)! 2 is a bit too little IMO.

4 jpegs per post or 2 pngs. The bandwidth usage is getting unreal lol.
Having some posts with four pics and some with two could create a lot of confusion, though.
I feel like having two screens per post and two consecutive posts allowed would basically be a win-win, though, personally.

Unfortunately the grain filter in the Uncharted 2 demo's a bit of a cheap-hack, scaling a pre-rendered noise pattern. The fact that light doesn't influence the grain (like a real camera) makes it unnatural but on top of that, the way the high frequency noise is being scaled introduces repeating block artefacts.

We're here to see screenshots. There's no point in limiting the amount. Just go look at another tab in the mean time

Checking the screens it looks like the JPEG's used about 450KB of space each and the new PNG's are closer to 1.7MB's each. So about a 4x increase in size difference between the old JPEG's and the new PNG's

I don't see the point in that. Just allow 4 images per post and the no double posting rule?
That would be a total of 200 possible photos on one page (400 on 100-posts-per-page) instead of 100 possible photos on one page (200 on 100-posts-per-page).
I mean, look, what I'm suggesting allows for people to post more screenshots at once than they do now, AND cut down on loading times for each page. I don't see a single negative to that. But I'll have a few other people let me know their thoughts before I go through with the change.

I don't see a problem of more images, I don't have rubbish internet but I guess cutting it down does help others.
Well, I mean, I have pretty decent 75mb internet speeds, but it still takes a good while to load up. Less loading wouldn't hurt anybody.

I use Chrome. I assume that's the most used browser, but I'm not sure.

Don't think this has been posted yet, it's a screenshot from the last NA Splatfest (Art vs Science). Does anyone know how to take overhead screenshots like this, I can tell it is taken in the weapon testing area.
