^I bought AW for the multiplayer, and haven't enjoyed a cod campaign since cod 4, but the shrinkwrapped bodies have me interested in trying the campaign out now...

Also the devs should be applauded for the minimalist HUD. Nice pics.

Thanks! Although if you haven't liked any of the campaigns since COD4, I don't think this one will change your mind in all honesty...

I'm thinking about trading it in soon with Driveclub and Sunset Overdrive. I think it's time for me to get a Wii U (I already own Smash 4, and Zelda's coming).

Not a very flattering picture but everyone's Ryse screenshots have this square pattern artefact all over the picture, apart from the HUD leading me to believe it's a flaw in Crytek's custom upscaler.
I really only see it noticeably in one shot with very excessive lighting, and even then the motion blur in game masks it during gameplay. I'm not sure it's the custom upscaler vs something else like tiled lighting or some post processing effect making weird artifacts.

Its not the "custom uipsacler" but just upscaling in general. You will find that such patterns in all upscaled imagery in some sense of the word.

Ryse didn't use the standard hardware upscaler for Ryse, they opted to use their own solution to avoid the sharpness filter (which Microsoft removed after launch). The upscaling artifacts in Ryse aren't typical when compared to something like Sunset Overdrive (also 900p natively).

It's 10 years later. Are graphics really that much more advance from this?
