So whats the general consensus on DriveClub now? See that it's only 20 bucks at gamestop, thinking about picking it up after work today.

Does the PS4 version of this use TressFX or was that only an option on PC? I can't see her hair in the pics.

it uses Tress FX 2.0, looks better and uses a better shader, but has less physicalized hair strands.

Most of GAF loves it, I've bought (and sold it) twice, and I think overall it's a pretty good game. For $20 it's worth it if you like racing and are competitive. If you end up not liking it it's not hard to trade it in for $15 somewhere like Best Buy.
Why are you not able to get into it? Just more into the open-world style?
Dunno. I didn't like the tour grind so I spent most of my time messing around in time trials or races. I didn't feel motivated to continue once I unlocked the venom lol. I like track based racers but I think FH2 and FM5 spoiled me as far as gameplay goes (I prefer the handling model in Forza). I think I have the fastest time on Loch Dulch reverse in the rain with the huayara though if anyone wants to beat it.
Also Loch Dulch Reverse is by far the best track in Driveclub, and imo one of the best tracks in any racer.

For me, the best part of Bloodborne from a visual standpoint is the geometry. The sheer poly count is amazing, combined with the tessellation and parallax / relief mapping makes the game have some of the highest fidelity in terms of 3D depth and detail. Sure its draw distance isn't amazing and its textures can be low res. But its more than I expected from From Software.

Driveclubs a good game, but I have to agree with you. The amount of big patches that release for the game is ridiculous. I spend more time updating it or waiting for tracks to download than I spend playing it.
At least it has a bunch of free DLC and the additions / fixes in patches generally are impressive.

The first one seems darker just because of your PC screen, it isn't darker.
To see the difference you have to copy the url of the 2 images and to put them in new tabs. After you just have to switch from one tab to an other.
The picture taken by the capture card is (a little bit) sharper than the one taken with the PS4 Share.

Umm. No driveclub patch has ever been 10gb, the newest is approx <2gb. What you're seeing is the cumulative amount for every patch released for drive club. It doesn't download it all.

The compression isn't too noticeable in brightly lit scenes with PS4 Share (just not as sharp/some finer detail is lost) but in dark, dimly lit scenes it is very noticeable.
Try capturing while the game is in motion(as in moving characters and graphical effects) where it would be a noticeable difference.PS4 Share

I only finished chapter 3 yesterday and it took me nearly 2 hours (with plenty of deaths).
I really enjoyed it and there's also some action near the end of this chapter for those who don't like playing stealthy. Chapter 4 is in my plans for this evening.

Yeah. A little bit, was expecting a bigger difference tbh.
Maybe try games with film grain (that tends to be a bitch to compress) or sub fullhd. I noticed a major difference in AC:Unity between shared pics and proper captures.
