2015 Console Screenshot Thread (PS4, XB1, Wii U) [READ OP!]

Geez, Sunset Overdrive is a good looking/pretty game. So colorful. I have the game, but haven't played it much.

You should dive back in! Takes a bit to overcome the skill curve but oh man is it worth it.

Sunset Overdrive, XB1 Share function, Full RGB.

I want to eat at a diner like that someday.

And i have to say, Ryse looks exceptionally good and not too far behind The Order.

Wow. Not to derail the thread, but I don't see it at all. I don't own either game, but in the shots in this thread I'm seeing baroque amounts of environmental detail and near photorealism in the Order, with objects like photographs and handbills that feel like they were pulled out of real life. In Ryse I'm seeing...effect sliders turned all the way up.

If only someone would apply some reshade effects to Ryse to see how it looks with filmgrain ,CA and a constantly shifitn depth of field. That would be interesting.

I'm thinking you probably shouldn't comment on the tech side of a games graphics then :). Especially if your diagnosis stops at hi-res textures used for bills/photos.

How do you compare a game with massives amounts of metals, glassware, more "modern" appliances and buildings, to an era full of basic things like clay vases and a limited time-period based level of decoration?

The environments and settings in the two games are darn near exact opposites of each other.

The only thing one could really compare may be animation and character model detail. Even then, you have gritty metal/armour vs layers of cloth. Again, that's not really comparable material wise. They're both top notch in those two areas.

Killzone Shadowfall it's still one of the best looking games currently on the market, IMO. I find it really strange that people don't talk more about it in threads about best graphics and such.

I find it strange too

The first version of this thread was pretty much Killzone, Infamous and Ryse screenshots out the ass until later in the year when games like AC: Unity and Driveclub started hitting the market. It's still posted every now and then among the newer games so it hasn't been forgotten.

I dont know technically which is superior - Hell GTA5 from last gen could be superior to both technically for all I know - but visually Order looks like the best looking game I have ever seen. Like I still cant seem to get over how freaking good it looks. ( I think art wise it has Ryse beat too but that is another discussion)

I was gonna post this. It may not get posted or talked about much now, but there was a huge focus on it in the old thread.

For old time's sake:

All my photos are coming out at really horrible. Twitter and Facebook compress the images terribly. How do I go about saving them and uploading them with no compression? PS4, by the way.

Check out the image hosting sites in the OP. I personally use Flickr for the folder management, but CubeUpload is a good one for quick uploads that add no further compression.

I don't own KZ Shadowfall but I'm all for people posting lots of different games versus the Sunset, Ryse, Driveclub, FH2, The Order loop the thread is currently on. More Wii U presence in particular would be nice tbh.

I don't necessarily like that these threads tend to turn into "Show off pictures from X console's best looking games!!" But I'm guilty of it too lol.

But how do I get them off the PS4 to upload to Flickr? Is there a way to upload directly to the site from the console browser?

Delsin has some freakishly long fingers! ^^^^ LOL.

I don't think so. I just use the USB method.

Yeap, my brother in law was playing it the other day, forgot how beautiful it was. Some shots.

Killzone Shadow Fall.

Man, I remember the first time I entered that room. My jaw was on the floor.

These are the first next generation pictures that made me go OMG! There is nothing to criticise, its just perfection.

I think the Agamemnon Air Ship level is the one where Ready at Dawn really show off the quality of their anti-aliasing solution. It is a level that would be any game engines worst aliasing nightmare, literally ultra busy but tiny lines, cables, ridges, angles, geometry everywhere, in insane abundance, yet there is not a jaggie in sight, instead the image remains consistently and impeccably clean.

^^The camera focus circle never goes away in Forza Horizon 2 photo mode, even if you hide the HUD. Taking the picture adds the splashmark. If you want neat camera angles use replay mode (accessible when using the rewind feature) which lacks all the photo mode effects, but is more representative of gameplay.
