So was supposed to be at the cottage this weekend, but we had to come back early because the black flies were EATING US ALIVE. My legs are covered in bites.

My parents dog got the worst of it. We had just arrived last and after a couple of hours when we were resting inside, the dog lies down and a swarm of black flies start pouring out from under her. We roll her over and her entire belly was covered in blood.
