Loving your screenshots dude, especially this one.
So this is for Nick Pal and posting all the FC3.
I've been lurking around and actually really like some of those shots, but they get buried in with the ones that look more like "standard" gameplay snaps. There have been pages where it's almost unending FC3 because you've posted 6-7 separate times on a page with 2 shots each from it. That's a lot for a game that is pretty samey-looking (imo)
You've also posted 2 of the same shots on the same day, with only the tiniest hair of a difference between them (but probably without realizing it):

Anyway, here's some that I liked:
And the lighting looks surprisingly good here
But there's some pretty iffy stuff too, like

IMO it's almost like filler shots with no direction. They're more spontaneous maybe, but in the others I see some composition happening and some thought or gut about how you set it up. The thread isn't for beautiful artistic visions, but putting in what seems like filler just kinda serves to hide the nice stuff. Plus, if you really like this game why not show off in the best way you can and not muck it up and make us sick of seeing it. Sorry for a bit of a rant, but some selectivity can go a long way.
Btw dig the new color setup, being subdued actually makes it look more striking, strange as it sounds.
First shot hurt my eyes. Looks to be in the dead kings area. Second shot looks amazing, vanilla or with reshade?
Editorials and fashion photography? Niice. I sure can call 'em. It's neat to see how stuff will carry over like that, you definitely have an eye for it.I have a background in fashion and I used to style and direct models for years so I'm really into composition. I often cropped photographers pictures for editorials so this I guess is my outlet now
Thanks as well, I have a few shots I put up here like that but you probably mean this. It's actually inspired by this scene I saw in a movie so I can't take credit for that composition, but I was pretty pleased to find a similar looking spot in the game.Actually one of your earlier shots from Dragon Age Inquisition where a single female is standing in a desert like location is still one of my favourites from the entire thread

And on your 2nd shot above, wow, the water isn't just this mass of radioactive jello like it normally seems to be. Something in your setting is giving the game a nice crisp clarity too... man it's weird to be seeing FC3 as an attractive game, but I like it!
Could you share your ENB at all?Skyrim

As requested, here are the free camera, FOV and 'clean' timestop hacks used for the recent Homeworld Remastered Dead End Thrills shots:

You'll have to let me know if something's changed at retail that breaks it.
I never noticed she'd stepped in shit.
I have to hand it over to the console devs. You can really hide terrible texture quality, low-resolution and non-existent anti-aliasing behind a mountain of motion blur, cinematic bars, film grain and depth of field and tell people that they have incredible IQ.

Looks like a shot from a movie set. Really great.
I don't use mods. This style is achieved by skipping a lot of mipmap levels (can be done via the configuration file), I use GeDoSaTo for downsampling and anti-aliasing.Damn, what mods are you using? can you post your mod list?
Guys, is there any good resource for reshade presets online? I looked on the reshade.me forums but there doesn't seem to be much. I was experimenting with it in Wolfenstein 09 but couldn't do jack shit with it, which was when I decided id be better using ones created be people who know what theyre doing lol

Because I play waaaaay too much arena commander all I can see is the misaligned geometry on the wing weapons of the M50 that was introduced a path ago.Looks like a shot from a movie set. Really great.
That was me, although I think I said there were three shades - and I meant it! You're right though, your settings really help change the mood of the game and IMO improve its appearance. Vanilla Far Cry 3 is one of the many games that suffered from an unintentional cartoony/plasticky look, so countering that with ReShade is probably something I'll do if I play it again at some point.Someone on these forums said the grass in FC3 only has two shades of green. I couldn't agree with you more but after some tweaking in Mastereffect it appears denser and there's more contrast between the colors.
