Hey Spawn, if you're going to use big shots, make sure you're only including 2 per post. Either way, absolutely beautiful, especially those last two shots. Amazing.

Are fraps + imgur a good way to upload screenshots?[/QUOTE]
I think you'd have difficulty to find a worse way.

Oh wow
I think you'd have difficulty to find a worse way.
i kind of wish skyrim had its own thread, It generally shits up this thread because its not "Skyrim" it whatever bastard child the person cooked up with all the mods they have on it. *end rant*
PS4 port?
It looks that bad? :/
Been looking around for some graphical mods and these were what i've been suggested

Yep, although a lot of us ended up just including Arno in our shots because wall-hugging until you find the exact right spot is a very tedious process.
Fraps often doesn't capture injectors, so what you're seeing may look different to what the screenshot shows if you're using SweetFX. I'm not sure if it's been fixed as it's been years since I jumped ship to MSI Afterburner, as that gets everything. And no, Imgur is an awful host. It uses extremely aggressive compression, which may not be too bad for photos, but for game screenshots you want a host that preserves the clean look generated by our PCs and not something that's pixellated and full of artifacting.
By the way, you really, really need to force anisotropic filtering. The lack of it makes your textures look awful. There are millions of guides to do it and it only takes about half a minute with virtually no performance loss, so make sure you get it done!
You dont have AF on those shots![]()
...just now found out about the Catalyst Control Center, i had no idea the game didn't use it by itself (10 years away from pc gaming does that to you lol)
How can i know if it's active in game? i went into the Catalyst setting and i got the AF to 16x -> Apply
But i can't seem to catch any differences in-game :/

It's the kind of thing that you can't really notice until you've got a clear sight. That location is extremely busy, so it'll be hard to notice it there, but in less crowded areas, especially that underground corridor you posted before, it'll be instantly noticeable. Here's a comparison of it off and on.

Care to clarify? Any game with mods applied can look awful or great depending on how the mods have been applied, which mods are being used, and of course your own opinion on what looks good or bad. Are there any shots that you think are particularly bad? Is it all of them? Do you dislike people heavily modding games?

To grab the framebuffer, an overlay trick is used, which IMHO both Fraps and Steam use (grab the overlay available in DX, grab framebuffer). I can't find any differences between a (non compressed) steam screenshot and what I see on screen (and I do use post-fx in the enb). Also the enb screenshot is equal to the steam screenshot. Not sure whether this is due to a recent update to the steam client and it sucked before, I'm not a long time screenshot taker, so I don't know whether it differs per game or steam client version.Fraps will usually grab stuff like post effects now, it's the Steam screenshot function that doesn't nab anything.
A great game for screens, but your images are rather low quality and rather small. I recommend a different upload point, file type, and perhaps quite a bit higher resolution.
Sadly there's no way. Ubisoft put in very, very aggressive code integrity scans in order to prevent you from bypassing their microtransactions for in-game currency and TEMPORARY cheats. That's right. They want you to buy temporary cheats.
Hopefully that doesn't become a trend.

Are star citizen and elite dangerous similar in gameplay?
What is the gameplay like for that matter? Does it involve gunfights etc? They both look so good in these screens.

Hmmm,...
I found this
http://mrantifun.net/index.php?threads/assassins-creed-unity-trainer.2495/
(it has an option "disable anti-cheats")
Maybe this would bypass their ingame scans, I have no idea, you are the experts and I'm just a user...![]()

Nah, Steam doesn't grab Sfx or Reshade at least. It will grab ENB though.

Unity is up to at least version 1.5, so I can't imagine any of those would work. I can always try later on in the week though.
Ah, you are of course right - I haven't seen that (haven't tried this tool)
Too bad...
Another question @everyone:
(I hope it's okay to ask here, I'm completely new into screenshotting, started this 2 months ago or sth ^^ and don't know where to ask instead)
In several games, Mastereffect Reborn doesn't work at all for me, for instance Dark Souls or Far Cry 4.
I install ReShade and am able to use this to inject SweetFX profiles (this is btw the only way I got SweetFX working on my machine at all (Win8.1)). If I then drop the mastereffect files in, the games completely blur out on startup. Some games like Tomb Raider 2013 or Metro work fine and some like the two mentioned above don't.
I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what...
Are you using DSFix with Dark Souls? If so, I know that setting your depth of field resolution the same as your present resolution will cause the menus to be blurred out.
Also, Dark Souls is a real weird case so I wouldn't use that to be representative of how well Reshade works in a general sense for any other games.
I'm not sure about FC4 though, I should check that out.
